I recently got the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 14" laptop, and it's been a great experience! The 2K touchscreen display is sharp and vibrant, not as good as an OLED variant, but pretty much perfect for both work and entertainment. The AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, paired with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, ensures smooth performance for most tasks for most people, but I upgraded my storage to 2TB to fit my needs, and the upgrade was easy. The 2-in-1 design is super versatile, allowing me to use it as a laptop or tablet depending on my needs. The build quality is solid, and the Artic Grey color looks sleek and professional. It's lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around. Sleek, lightweight, efficient. 1920x1200 screen makes a real difference vs. 1080p, especially at 14”. Build quality is nice! Hinges and aluminum case feel very sturdy. I/O is good, keyboard is nice, touch screen responsive and accurate. Just wish it came with a pen! Ryzen 8840hs is a beast as well. The integrated graphics are a pleasant surprise on performance—I’m gonna start carrying a controller on work trips for some spot gaming. Battery life is TBD—I don’t do heavy loads on battery only but it seems solid. Probably on par with a 2016 MacBook Pro my wife has, but that probably doesn’t sound like a compliment.

I was frustrated at missing out on this superb laptop during Lenovo's own sale - which lasted for one day - at $674. Stunned to find it go on sale the very next day at Best Buy for only $599. The Yoga line is a step up from Lenovo's IdeaPad. More solidly built with great hinges (important on a 2 in 1). And this is loaded with 16 gig of memory, a powerful Ryzen processor, and a full terabyte of storage. Only thing I'd improve is having a brighter OLED screen, but can't touch that at this price point considering the other features.

I don't often leave detailed complaining reviews, but here we are...hoping to help someone else not make this mistake. I was looking for a new laptop that would be convenient and easy to use for writing my medical notes for work and basic presentation type stuff... my husband got this for mother's day so I appreciated the thought and generosity... The good: touch screen is nice on this, speed is good... the bad and (overall disappointed in several things) such as: the mouse pad is so hard to click and makes a really loud clicking noise when you press it. It is super finicky and sensitive - the mouse pad alone is reason not to buy this laptop 2) For a while every time it would log out, it wouldn't reopen to a the pin code login screen but instead to a Bitlocker recovery screen which requires logging into microsoft on another device and finding a long 30 digit code... this happened over and over again for about 2 weeks... 3). The flexible screen is okay if you're trying to use it as a touch screen but if you're trying to sit with the laptop on your lap to do work it the folding mechanism is really annoying. The screen wants to flatten out backwards... I'm into month 3 so past the return window unfortunately. I should have trusted my instinct and returned it right away but I couldn't find a comparable laptop in this price range that was worth the switch. Now I would happily pay more to upgrade to a different laptop.

I love this laptop! The display is beautiful, it runs well, and the touchscreen is fantastic. The hinge seems to work fine so far, but others have complained. I am thrilled that it offers fingerprint ID and facial ID. It makes logging in speedy! Lastly, the # of ports is mindblowing. 1 HDMI, 2 USB-C, 1 USB, 1 Micro-SD slot, and a headphone jack. Things to note: The laptop does not come with a pen, which I found pretty odd. Additionally, the speakers are fantastic. But randomly, one day, the audio became EXTREMELY distorted and crackly. After restarting my laptop, the speakers seem to work fine. Hopefully, it won't happen again. Battery life is not as efficient as I was hoping for. But, it's not terrible. Overall, I recommend this laptop to everyone I know. It is versatile, beautiful, and affordable. I hate to give it 4 stars. If I could do a 4.8 I would.

This is exactly what I needed. It's fast, was easy to configure, and does everything I need it to do and more. The size and weight is perfect, and the backlit keyboard makes using it in low light areas a breeze. The only thing I wish it had, but doesn't, is more than one USB port. Much past that, I wouldn't change thing.

I got this laptop during Black Friday sales. For the price I got it for, I can say it’s worth every penny. I like that it’s metal, has an integrated webcam cover and the processor, memory, and hard drive size are all great. The only thing I would have liked it to have would be a bit brighter display. Overall, it’s a great buy and would recommend this laptop.

Let me start this off by saying that it's not a MacBook, it's not a XPS, and it's not a surface laptop. Yet it's still built surprisingly well, probably because of its smaller chassis and full metal (aluminum I think) construction. There's no keyboard flex (well it's very minor, again not XPS level, but more than good), and the screen is great (not color accurate, don't video editing on this thing) and looks amazing to the naked eye. Bottom panel is a bit thinner than I would have liked but it's completely acceptable. Onto the main pros of this little laptop. The power. It packs the R7 8840HS (newest gen R7 at the time of review) and 16gb of ram (sadly I upgradeable). For the price this is the best performing laptop I could find that also has a metal chassis. For a little more bang for buck cheaper gaming laptops and some older Ultrabooks win. What I'm trying to say is that it's great, would buy it again.

It's been a long while since purchasing a new laptop. The customer representstives at the Vestal, New York store were amazing! Presented me with all sorts of options within my budget. This little Lenovo Yoga is Great! Compact, easy to carry, speedy, battery has long life, and its very intuitve! I love! Would recommend for any student or faculty/staff use in a teaching institution. A small but powerful laptop ready for any type of work do you planning to do?

Joseph, our sales person, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. The computer is very fast and the 2K screen is both beautiful and easy to read. The battery life is over two hours depending on level of activity. The touchscreen is very responsive and the SSD drive is plenty big enough, especially if you use Onedrive. Lenovo is making a good machine right now and the case is sturdy and resists finger prints.

Bought it for computer work and it’s truly better than when I had my dell. It runs so much smoother and faster, and truly has better capabilities. Loving the ease of being able to bring work wherever I go

Purchased this for an elderly friend that's completely new to using a computer. They have experience using a touchscreen phone so I figured I'd give this touchscreen laptop a try. So far it's been an easy transition. I purchased a mouse as well so they can alternate between track pad, mouse or use the touchscreen when they get stuck. The screen is beautiful and it's a solid feel. The feel, AMD CPU and ease of use is what sold me on it.
