It's been a long while since purchasing a new laptop. The customer representstives at the Vestal, New York store were amazing! Presented me with all sorts of options within my budget. This little Lenovo Yoga is Great! Compact, easy to carry, speedy, battery has long life, and its very intuitve! I love! Would recommend for any student or faculty/staff use in a teaching institution. Joseph, our sales person, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. The computer is very fast and the 2K screen is both beautiful and easy to read. The battery life is over two hours depending on level of activity. The touchscreen is very responsive and the SSD drive is plenty big enough, especially if you use Onedrive. Lenovo is making a good machine right now and the case is sturdy and resists finger prints.

After about 4 months of using the Lenovo Yoga 7 nearly daily, I'm very impressed. I bought the Ryzen 7 version with 16gb of ram. I wouldn't use a Windows computer with only 8gb of ram and expect it to function well for the life of the product. Battery life could be better, but I'm never far from a plug and don't charge it over 80%. I'm guessing you'd get 6-8 hours of writing on a full charge. Most everything works great! The track pad is big and responsive, the keys are backlit and have a good feel to them. The screen is 16:10 ratio, so it's a little taller which is great for writing documents and reading (though I prefer a 3:2 ratio). The speakers could be better, though I typically dock my laptop at a desk with different speakers or use my headphone. Also, the screen lack solid color saturation. I'm not a screen expert, but the colors are clearly washed out. It's also not a 2k screen as implicated in the title, only 1080p. My other laptop is a 2k screen and the difference in clarity and resolution is night and day. While the speakers and screen are a bummer, the performance makes up for it (especially if you dock it to a monitor and speakers). The laptop is quick! The Ryzen 7 8840hs, paired with 16 gb ram, is snappy and performative. I haven't played many PC games in a while, but with this laptop I can play almost anything that's released recently, as long as I use low settings on the really intensive stuff. Games like Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, and Rocket League work incredibly well, even on medium settings. Should you get this laptop? If you need a solid convertible for school or work, didn't car to much about speakers and screen, and want the option for some light gaming, this is the laptop for you. It's on sale regularly, so wait if you don't see one happening (I got mine for $649 US).

Purchased this for an elderly friend that's completely new to using a computer. They have experience using a touchscreen phone so I figured I'd give this touchscreen laptop a try. So far it's been an easy transition. I purchased a mouse as well so they can alternate between track pad, mouse or use the touchscreen when they get stuck. The screen is beautiful and it's a solid feel. The feel, AMD CPU and ease of use is what sold me on it.

Bought it for computer work and it’s truly better than when I had my dell. It runs so much smoother and faster, and truly has better capabilities. Loving the ease of being able to bring work wherever I go

Great Machines especially for the price. Solid build quality. Keyboard is excellent. Touchpad is highly responsive as is the touch screen. Screens were much better than I anticipated. Battery life is very impressive. Overall Highly impressed. Only cons are the Ram is not upgradeable and windows 11. Overall cant go wrong

This laptop is amazing. Super fast and never skips a beat. has windows hello, and a fingerprint scanner. Charges fast too and holds a charge for a very long time. I love mine and would recommend it to everyone.

For years I have used HP laptops as my main computer. My computers are connected to dual monitors with the laptop screen closed. The screens are never opened; the computers are turned on by pressing the power button just like a conventional computer. They come on without having to open the lid. Fast forward to this Levovo and Windows 11 (which I hate) laptop. The only way you can turn it on is to open the lid then push the power button. This creates a problem for me and the way my desk is laid out. Lenovo help desk has not been any help. I wonder is they never figured out that many people use a laptop as a main computer. I bought this laptop mainly because the power button is on the outside and not under the lid. All this being said, the laptop works fine. It is responsive and has enough power and storage for all my needs and then some. Build quality is great. Now if I could only turn it on without opening the lid live would be wonderful.

To all the people complaining about bitlocker locking them out, that's a windows 11 problem not a Lenovo problem. Bitlocker has been a part of windows for several years, but usually you have to enable it. For some reason Microsoft thought it was a good idea to have bitlocker on by default in windows 11. Onto the topic of review though, the laptop works great for my wife, except for one issue that nobody else seems to be having. Sometimes the battery percentage is not correct. Sometimes it will die at 70%. I've managed to "fix" the issue by draining the battery and charging back to 100%, then draining it again to charge it back up to 100%. But the problem has come back from time to time. Not a big issue to deal with if you're always next to an outlet. But if you're looking for a college laptop to use on campus, I can't recommend for that issue.

This laptop is light weight and the perfect size for mobility. It is easy to use.

Super pleased with my Lenovo Yoga laptop. I use it for school assignments as well as work. So far I am happy with speed and love that I can watch movies in tablet mode. Haven’t had any issues with battery life. I only charge it every few days.

I am very pleased with the laptop. It is built well, fast and dependale. I have had zero issues with it and I highly recommend l. Definitely, will be purchasing again in the future.

Thiz laptop is blazingly fast and has a battery that lasts 13+ hours. I purchased it at the full price but when it went on a memorial day sale, Best Buy refunded $300, no questions asked.

Battery life and graphics are good. Perfect for school and play. Form factor is great for on the go and at home. Can run Halo 2 Anniversary with zero lag and all Microsoft office products.
