Very disappointed.

It is so very frustrating and I asked the geek squad to all my files from my old computer to this one but they moved everything to the cloud instrad and half of my files are missing.

While Lenovo includes free promotions from industry partners, these apps are optional and can be removed. To begin, open the Settings app, then select “Apps” from the left-hand menu of the display, next choose the “Installed apps” option from the right-hand side of the display, finally simply find which program you would like to remove and click the “more options” symbol to the right and uninstall the program.

Crackling and locking

Updated on logging in. All seemed fine. Then, speaker began crackling and keyboard stopped working. Checked online to find hundreds of other customers were having the same issue with their lenovos. Suggested fix... restart or update a driver. Well... no more driver updates... all I can do now is restart once or twice a day. Its under warranty but got the same advice from lenovo...

I went to pick it up and Best Buy told me they returned my laptop and were giving me a refund. I tried to repurchase the laptop but was told it was no longer available at that price. How did they cancel my purchase without my knowledge, they ripped me off, beware of Best Buy.

We strive to ensure that our products give users the best experience possible and we would like to suggest a few solutions.
To manage heat produced this Yoga 7 uses an active cooling system, this system alongside software and other components helps keep the device in optimal performance range while also preventing thermal throttling. To ensure the best experience we advise that you allow the air intake vents, located at the bottom of your laptop, to have sufficient room for air circulation. Additionally, please ensure the rear exhaust vents are free of obstruction to prevent reduced air pressure.
This Yoga also comes equipped with Smart Control, allowing users to use the key combination of Fn + Q, to switch between modes to prioritize performance or thermals. In cases where the device is in your lap or may be obstructed, we recommend toggling modes to prevent excess heat on the bottom of the device.
Lastly, please check for and install all available updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. This will guarantee the system is using the newest software and drivers to ensure optimal performance. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app and selecting the “Check for updates” button on the right-hand side of the homepage. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page. Best Buy has no respect for customer privacy

Even though I've very carefully indicated in my account profile that I don't want advertising or promotional ads, they send and incessant stream of unsolicited e-mails, nagging me to install/activate either unwanted Lenovo bloatware or their own "complimentary" products and subscriptions that I did not willingly purchase. I provided a business e-mail address to establish an account. The stream of spam I receive after every purchase gives me reason to regret that choice.

Something that had never happened before was that the computer said I had restarted it too frequently and couldn't log in again until I had left the computer on for 2 hours! Another horrible thing is that the computer just stops working, going back to the Yoga home screen while I'm working. I'm considering returning it before my 30 days are up, but I'm not sure anything else won't also suck.

To start, this does seem to be a problem rooted with the operating system. We recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates.
If this does not resolve the problem, you may then need to factory reset your Yoga and reinstall a factory copy of Windows on the system to remove any problematic software. Died 7 weeks after purchasing.

Spent over an hour with tech support and couldn't fix it. Now I have to send it in to be repaired and won't even just send me a new one or refund me. Really upsetting. Once it's fixed, who knows if something will go wrong after the warranty expires? The last laptop I had (hp) lasted 8 years.

A lot of OS/software errors

Disappointed in this laptop

The mouse freezes in the middle of a word document or email. Everything gets lost and I start over. Bad software
