Amazing little laptop

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Yoga 7 is a high quality 2in1 laptop with an above average build quality and an amazing screen. I looked at a number of laptops and the body flex in many made them feel a little flimsy. Not this one. The case is nice. The keyboard is silky smooth and a dream to type with. My only negative was the overall power of this laptop. It would meet the needs of most anyone but just wasn’t what I was looking for. Overall this is a beautiful laptop with above average build quality.

LOVE this computer

I switched from a Dell Latitude and I can't believe how much nicer this one is. It's is so fast and the OLED touchscreen is beautiful. The touch on the keyboard is so nice. The sound is great and is perfect for watching a movie. On my Dell, the sound was so bad and the computer rattled, so that watching a movie was not possible. So glad I purchased this computer (when it was on sale) and am looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

Easy breezy

I have ine and my son has one now, we are not tech savviest but this was so easy to set up and it is light and amazing graphics. I will buy a third for my other child for xmas. I cant speak to gaming on it because we use it for college and work. It is reliaable and the charger is so light compared to other laptops, it is just a usb thing like our phones !

Excellent laptop!

Fast processing, quick response, brilliant screen, excellent battery life, easy to transport. I have not used it much in tablet mode, but it worked great when I tested it. Allows me to be mobile without carrying around a big laptop. Mostly used for business and documents. Copilot is a great assistance. I have even watched movies with it and they are excellent quality. Sound is good. I like that the speakers are up facing and do not get covered easily. The touchpad is responsive without being too sensitive. Overall an excellent little computer.

She currently uses it for school and recommends it for anyone that is looking for a laptop for school. It processes well and when she watches videos for school or on her leisure time, she enjoys it!

Still figuring It Out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a nice little machine. A little temperamental though. It doesn't always start up right away. Sometimes, I have to press the power button a few times. There's no way to tell if this press will do it since it takes 30 seconds or so before there are any signs of life. I have Microsoft Office on the computer. I do not store anything in the cloud unless I am using it as a public file. However, without clear warning, things are stored on the cloud. I don't need a machine that I can't use unless there is wifi. There's a reason why I purchased it with a 1TB SSD. I know this is probably a MIcrosoft issue, but it is very frustrating when it is not clear where things are being stored. When I open my Documents folder, I expect to be able to open it with the drop down folders I created and for it all to be on the computer I saved it on. Only to see that most of what I saved is not accessible without wifi. Anyway, the machine itself is light and fast [once it decides to wake up].

To start, with system startup, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.
Also, with OneDrive, please visit the following link to a Microsoft Support webpage that details how to disable and uninstall OneDrive since you wish to not utilize the service: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/turn-off-disable-or-uninstall-onedrive-f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0

Regarding your comment on battery life, first, we are sorry to hear that battery life fell short of your expectations. We wish to provide the best experience possible, so if you'd like to, we want to share some information that can help to improve your experience with battery life.
To start, there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

The very best laptop and the very best price

This one replaces one that is 6 years old, another Lenovo. It finally got to a point where it was un-upgradeable. I love the 14" screen and full AI features. Plenty of memory and features. And the keyboard is second to none. By far the best feature. This is a MUST buy! You won't be disappointed.
