Perfect size for my college bound child. Fits in the backpack along with books. Best functionality of all the laptops that we tried in a similar price range. Nice high def screen though my child is not a video gamer. 4 months later my student is very happy with this laptop.

I purchased this laptop originally for schoolwork and basic stuff like browsing and streaming. It's not a heavy based system, so don't expect your higher end programs like photoshop to run as smoothly if you're in it for art stuff, editing or even gaming. This laptop did run quite smoothly otherwise. My basic schoolwork got done as intended. One problem to note is that this does not have an internal fan due to it having a built in SSD and lower powered processor. This laptop runs a Intel Dual core i5 processor (not the best) ..so this won't be doing any casual or even any hardcore gaming. Due to it not having an Internal cooling unit (fan) and running dual core processor, it will heat up considerably bad in my case. Otherwise if it's used for more simple stuff you shouldn't run into any problems. unfortunately, for me I needed some video and photo editing work and this was not powerful enough to keep up with the programs I use. plus I may have gotten a defective unit that wore within the 2 months I've had it as for some strange reason my unit seem to excessively overheat at an alarming rate just doing basic things like watching a movie or sometimes even browsing. Hopefully my warranty would allow me to exchange it for a more powerful machine capable for my specific needs. Don't let that turn you away as manufacturer defects do happen at times. A few upsides to note about this laptop. One, is the screen. It looks very nice and has a very good IPS display at 1920x1080 (Personally, I don't really use the touchscreen though it's nice to have anyway and the brightness could be just a tad bit brighter since I like using full brightness). Second, is the speakers. They are decently loud enough (they're located at the bottom of the system) and aren't really that bad as it runs a Dolby digital sound system with good Highs, mids and lows. Perfect enough for your media use. And last, is the battery. The battery is not bad, as it runs me about 5 hours on energy saving and balanced settings ..A little less when watching videos, plus it charges fairly fast. I Would let it get to about 10% at times and then charge it, i'd come back withing two hours sometimes finding it fully charged at 100%.

I wanted to like it because it was small & light, but it had 2 negative issues that prevented me from keeping it. First, the display had a yellowish tint & no adjustments to brightness would change that. Second, it only had 128SS which was too small. I was planning to install Office Professional 2016 & since that takes up a lot of space, I would need an external flash drive or storage that needs a port on the computer. Since I always use a mouse for navigating & typing, I need the 1 existing port for the wifi mouse connection. There was no other port for extra storage unless I had added hubs. I returned the computer within a few days.

I bought this to watch movies on and to unload photos onto while travelling. It is really compact and light and so far has worked great for my purposes. I would not get this as a work laptop because it is so small and a little hard to type on, but good for entertainment.

I am a long time apple customer and since my current 13” macbook pro is out of applecare warranty, I started to shop around for laptops and came across the Lenovo Yoga 11” with 8GB 128 GB SSD with Intel core i5 mobile chip. At less than half the price of a new macbook pro with a two year geek squad cover included, I get the flexibility of the yoga with a touch screen without sacrificing esthetics! The full HD screen quality and sound is impressive! The only reason I gave it four stars is that I have not been able to download my Office 365 subscription the first try as some newer models require a level 2 microsoft technical support agent and I am expecting a callback tomorrow. Lenovo and Microsoft need to communicate to facilitate a better seamless customer experience.

I love this laptop! I'm so happy with everything about it; small, lightweight, fast- the touch screen and 'flippable' capability is amazing for my small business!

This laptop is the best ever...it is compact and very light weight. Easy to use. Lots of options. Great for college student like my daughter who I Purchased it for.

This yoga does everything that i need it to do and fast. Is very portable and convenient. Love the design and power.

My youngest sister just started college and it took us three tries to find a laptop she liked well enough to keep. The machine runs smoothly, looks nice, and keeps cool. Its hinge is one of the best I've seen.

I bought this for my aunt who was looking for a laptop for her daughter who's in college. She had very specific requirements. It had to be good on memory, hard drive space, sleek design, touchscreen, latest Windows, good price, etc. There are a few options with what she was wanted but this is a great brand already so it was almost an easy decision. Her daughter loves this laptop and thinks it is the cutest thing ever. I'm really pleased with how well it worked out for her needs and would recommend it for anyone looking for a laptop withing the $500 to $600 price range.

I liked every thing about this except the size. I was replacing a desktop so it was just to small. It was very easy to set up & windows 10 wasn't bad but I did return to get something with a larger screen.

My previous computer was the Lenovo Yoga 2 11". This newer version is way better than the previous. The build quality is way better. The computer is way faster as well. I love how quickly it boots up. The hinge system is very smooth compared to the previous version. The battery life is also way better. The only problem I have with the computer is that the shift key is a bit of a stretch to reach.

I enjoyed the operating system and rich screen aspects a lot. Great clear screen and extremely light weight. I would only caution if wanting to by a 11.6" laptop, make sure you can get comfortable with the smaller keyboard. Great Value as well.

Bought this laptop to carry on vacation. It is lightweight, resolution is good, and the fastest laptop or tablet I've ever had. It has a Solid State Drive and I am now a convert. The Yoga is a 2-in-1. It changes position easily but feels very solid. Not flimsy; the hinges seem strong. The only things that are not perfect: First, and not really changeable, is that the backspace key is small and hard to easily reach. This is largely or entirely due to the laptop being 11.6 inches. Secondly, the brightness of the screen drops significantly and fluctuates when running on battery. Even at the brightest setting, it may only be as bright at the "suggested" brightness level when plugged in. Finally, some areas of the touchscreen could be a bit more sensitive. But overall, this laptop is great. The other attributes make these easy to live with.

I was drawn to the Yoga because it is a size and weight. It does everything that I need a laptop to do with the versatility of a tablet. I think it does a great job doing some light work, working with media files, email and basic laptop functions and has enough capacity to do them quickly. It is really handy to then flip it over and use as a tablet to show off a photo album or watch video. The other 2 in 1s I looked at in this price range felt too big to really use as a tablet. The touch screen works great, it is responsive and looks really good. Very happy with it.

We wanted a small screen, light and easy to carry and travel with, but fast enough not to be frustrating. This little lap top suits our needs perfectly.

I purchased this laptop for work travel because it has everything I need and weighs approximately 2 lbs. It is easy to slip into my carry-on bag and use on the plane for work, watch movies, check my email, etc. I highly recommend this laptop.

It's light weight, so It's easy to carry to anywhere. It's 11 inches, so It's fit in my bag and good for airplain table. It's fast and do Yoga. So good !

I'd been using the Yoga 710 Pentium version with 4GB, but my wife wanted it to replace her IPad. (She wanted a full featured PC instead of a tablet that needs an aftermarket keyboard.) So I got this one with i5 processor and 8GB - even better. Does everything I need, runs MS Office well and any other software I've tried so far. Battery seems to last forever, SSD is fast, and of course it's ultraportable. There's very little you give up for the size, but you're not going to get a backlit keyboard say. My only complaint is the SSD should be 256 GB not a measly 128.

Purchased as replacement for lenovo 700, which was too slow, altho light and easy to use. The 710 has i5 processor, which is fast enough for my use: quick photo editing in the field. Lacks SD card port, which 700 had. Very limited USB port capacity, no optical drive of course. I do not use touchscreen feature, but it is well executed. I would/will buy another Lenovo when this one goes.
