Touchpad takes some getting used to. It is a new style (to me at least) and it is very easy to move your finger in such a way that it will magnify or decrease the size of what's on the screen. Kind of like the way your cell phone screen works, but I'm not used to this on a laptop. This usually happens to me in the middle of doing something. Then I have to stop and increase or decrease the size to get back to where I was. It is a solid pad with just a line dividing the left and right at the bottom, unlike the 3 key touchpad I am used to. I guess it will take time, but right now it slows me down. Other than that I love it. It would have gotten 5 stars if not for the touchpad issues.

The laptop was purchased for my son who is in the middle of mechanical engineering degree course work at school. The laptop has plenty of power for running the applications he needs for school, plus it has a discrete video chip for running games during down time. The unit is fast, agile, quiet and thin. The laptop has probably been the best money I have spent in at least a decade.

i love this laptop i had purchased a dell laptop before with the same specs the only different is the dedicated graphic card. the graphic card is not top notch but it adds a little power to the device. plus i love the premium look and feel of the laptop. for my daily driver am gonna keep this.

I have used all apple devices and computers for years. I am going back to school and for compatibility sake I decided to get a PC instead. This 2 in 1 impresses me every time I turn it on!! It turns boots up in seconds, there is zero noise from a hard drive, never overheats. I get a solid 9 hours of battery life every charge. I would re-purchase this computer again and again.

I upgraded a few months ago from my dinosaur laptop. I love the touch screen and how you can turn it into a tablet! I use it for school and have not had any issues yet. The only reason I gave a 4/5 score is due to the noisy fan when you first start it up. Other than that it is wonderful!

I have only had this for a month. Pros: - Thin/Lightweight - good speed Cons: - Windows 10. (Difficult to navigate after using win 7 for many years) - Power button ( small and somewhat of a pain to use) - Noticing keypad is marking the screen which is glossy and shows easily.

I purchased this laptop because I wanted a small, lightweight laptop that also doubled as a light weight gaming laptop. I have a gaming PC, so, I didn't need/want a laptop that would compete against it. I did download GTA V on it, and it did run at 1080p 30 FPS, which is rather poor for a gaming laptop, but on par with something like a game console, which is nice considering the device is mobile unlike a console. From my understanding, you could upgrade the RAM and SSD on this thing, though I'll probably be fine with the 256 GB it comes with. If you need more storage, I would recommend either getting an external hard drive or getting a high capacity SD card, and move any media on there instead of using up the precision high speed SSD memory for stuff like movies and MP3s. Oh also, it doesn't say on the description, but the laptop comes with a fingerprint scanner, which Is nice being able to log in without having to put in your pin or password or leave your laptop completely unprotected. Its nice for multiple users, as, the computer will automatically recognize the person's finger and log them into their account, which is perfect for a shared machine. I got this on sale for $750. I'm not sure if I would have paid the standard $850 retail price, but it' was definitely worth it for $750.

nice computer. backlit keyboard a definite plus. Computer is fast, and smooth. touch screen helps make up for my lack of laptop skills. transition from Vista to 10 a little difficult for us non tech types but works well as you get more familiar with it. would recommend it.

I got sick of my MacBook after experiencing several issues and made my switch to Windows. I've previously owned a SONY (very fragile), TOSHIBA (sturdy but not stylish), and a small Lenovo IdeaPad (cheap, works good), so I went for another Lenovo. I don't like silver so I immediately went for this beautiful Peal Black color, since I plan to use my PC for regular duties I chose COREi5, and a large 15.6-inch screen that works perfect with my purpose. My husband thinks the "hinge" is too vulnerable compared to the 900 series, but to me the hinge for the 900 series might be sturdy but look like a watch (I know, that's the point, but...). I do feel that brightness might be an issue. My husband's MacBook shines bright next to the dim lighting from my PC. I'm still figuring out how I can make it even brighter. So far I'm loving my new Lenovo and I'm happy for this purchase I made for a price much less than I had expected!

This laptop is exactly what I was looking for - portable and easy to use laptop/tablet to carry for travel. It is light-weight and has great power. Boot time of 3-4 seconds (SSD drive) and finger-print reader are definite bonuses. My only criticism is the mini-HDMI port doesn't accept the plug tightly - it wiggles a little.

With a fairly fast CPU, 8GB of decently fast RAM and an SSD, this thing runs nice and smooth with everything I have thrown at it. The touchscreen and convertibility to a Windows tablet are just a bonus. Great little machine, especially for the small price tag!

I did a fair amount of research before settling on this laptop. It has everything I was looking for - nice sized screen, converts to tablet, and dedicated graphics card - all at a pretty solid price point. My only knock after a few weeks would be the battery drains fast when playing games but I'm not a big time gamer.

I have had the computer for 3 months now and no issues. Works great as a travel computer for work and is slim and relatively light weight compared to my old computer. I also play games on occasion and the dedicated graphics perform well as long as you don't mind playing with the graphics turned down a few notches.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to the stuff I buy. I can't stand large black bands around the screen, which most laptops have. I an't stand SATA hard drives that take forever to load up, which a great many still have. I really hate bulky units which really isn't a problem these days. But to find all of that in one unit was turning out to be a crazy hard thing to do. Then I found this bad boy sitting in the display case next to the register. It was all alone so I had t look up the specs to see what it was all about. Needless to say that when I saw what this came with, I was giddy, but at $628 (or so) I was a little hesitant for an open unit. I decided to go for it and that's when things got much more interesting. It rang up at $362.99! If I was rating this unit based on the price it would be a 15. But in all seriousness, this thing performs wonderfully. It boots up instantly. Accessing files is a snap. The fingerprint reader is amazing. I can honestly say I haven't come across any negatives yet.

This computer exceeds my expectations. Easy start up, powerful and the screen is sharp. Lenovo has a nice online support platform. I am old school. Still getting used to the smaller caps button key on the left side

Quick speeds and very light weight. The mouse pad is a bit nonresponsive and takes several clicks to acknowledge. It is touch screen so I am slowly getting used to skipping the mouse and going straight to the screen.

Working out of the box as expected. Easy to install.
