I was eyeing for Asus g14 when the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 14-inch caught my eye. At the time of my purchase, it was only $499 and honestly, for that price, I can't expect anything more out of this. Now, I am thinking about building a PC with the extra money I saved by not getting a gaming laptop. My biggest concern was the battery life because I'm a college student who has classes all day long and I am happy to say it's an easy 10-hour battery for productivity or coding. That's surprising because Intel mobile CPUs aren't known for good battery backup. But with the core ultra chips, they have made some good ground on AMD. That being said, I still think the Core Ultra 5 125U is a bit underpowered for a $899 Laptop. Don't get me wrong, it handles normal applications just fine, but at full price, I would rather pick the AMD version of this laptop (Yoga 7 2-in-1). Ryzen 8845HS is just leagues ahead of 125U in terms of battery and performance. You also get more storage for the same price. However, when both Laptops go on sale, Yoga 7i is way cheaper and that's when it outshines the AMD version. One thing to clarify, the lack of integrated Arc graphics means this CPU isn't meant for the latest AAA gaming or even AA gaming, the AMD version is more capable. It can handle indie titles & some old big games just fine though. I did a benchmark on Resident Evil 6, which is a pretty old AAA game by now and it stayed over 30 fps on high settings. I never bought it with the intention of gaming. Like I said before, the reason why you are buying this at $499 is so that you can use the extra funds saved from not buying an All-rounder gaming laptop (Asus G14/G16) and build a way more powerful desktop PC instead. The laptop is built well and was made to last for a long time. The hinge is unhinged (pun) although it's a bit too rigid for opening the laptop lid with one hand. But it's compensating to eliminate screen wobble and for longer durability as you will be opening and converting it to tablet mode many times. However, the top lid is a fingerprint magnet and is susceptible to oil and dust so you have to take extra care in keeping it look neat and clean. The biggest weakness of this laptop is the display. There is nothing wrong with the touch response, and it works pretty well for taking notes with Lenovo Digital Pen 2 (not included), but the color accuracy is subpar. So, if you are an artist or someone who likes to do photo/video editing, look away. Also, the screen brightness is average, just good enough for indoors but on an outdoor bright sunny day, it will struggle. I guess that's one way they were able to cut the price of the laptop under $900. Overall, I think it's a good laptop for college students or general users. Would keep an eye out for a sale because whatever flaws it has, that gets outweighed by the value it offers.

I initially thought the 2-in-1 feature was more of a gimmick, but man, was I wrong! I find myself using it in tablet mode more than I expected—sometimes even more than traditional laptop mode. It’s super versatile, and paired with a Bamboo stylus, writing and taking notes has become genuinely enjoyable. Whether it’s for jotting down quick ideas or doing more detailed work, the stylus integration is smooth and fun. Under the hood, it’s got 16GB of RAM and an Intel i5 Ultra processor, which makes multitasking a breeze. Whether I’m running multiple tabs, editing documents, streaming, or using productivity apps, the performance is consistently smooth with no lag. It strikes a great balance between power and efficiency. For school and work, this laptop is an absolute beast. It has a solid, all-metal build that feels premium and durable, and the sleek, modern design makes it look just as good as it performs. Battery life is another strong point—easily lasting a full day of work or classes, including some video streaming. After a long day of use, I still have around 25% battery left, which is really impressive. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the screen. It’s not bad by any means, but I do wish it were a bit sharper or more vibrant. It’s just okay—not a dealbreaker, but something to consider if display quality is a top priority for you. Overall, this laptop delivers excellent performance, flexibility, and build quality for the price. Perfect for students, professionals, or anyone needing a dependable daily driver.

You won't regret buying this laptop! It is two in one, and I LOVE that. Its easy on the eyes, if you have sensitive eyes. I actually traded in my PC for this bad boy. Crazy right? But makes sense, if you just needed a computer for websites, blogging, light gaming, videos, and it does all of that. The keyboard is nice! I was obsessed with the usual Lenovo keyboards, because how mechanical they sound but the Yoga keyboard is actually nice too! Its more sleek, and lovely to type on. You can change the brightness of the keyboard back lights on the space bar itself, which is very convient if you don't want too much light. I got the 14 inch screen, which is perfect for me to take around everywhere. I love how when you open the laptop, it automatically turns on ( you can disable this feature ). On the screen, you can slide over the built in webcam, if you don't want it on. Thats right! Just slide that little toggle on the top. It has all the functions on your keyboard, like PRTSC, volume, brightness, and airplane mode etc. If you just want to chill and watch movies you can just fold this bad boy like a tablet and do so. It has a built in touch pad keyboard, if you want to write something too! Its fast, long battery life ( I seriously don't plug it in much! ), great graphics! SO GET IT. If you want a laptop, to bring everywhere this is the laptop to buy. It can light game on Steam, and other classic games. You can use a dongle for a wireless mouse if you need to. Also it can be paired with a wireless keyboard. The best laptop I ever owned.

good battery life, roomy touchpad, and loud top-firing speakers. However, it has some drawbacks, such as an underwhelming display, sluggish gaming performance, and grainy webcam quality. 2. **Best Buy**: Customers on Best Buy have rated the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 14" 2K Touchscreen Laptop highly, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars. They appreciate the touchscreen, fast performance, long battery life, and 1TB SSD storage. I got the Lenovo Yoga 7i recently and I’m honestly really happy with it. It’s fast, lightweight, and I love that it flips into a tablet, super handy for watching movies or just browsing while chilling on the couch. The screen looks great and everything runs smoothly. The only thing that could be better is the battery. It lasts a good amount, but if I’m using it a lot, I usually have to charge it before the day’s over. Not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind. The keyboards comfortable to type on and the whole thing feels solid and well made. For work, school, or everyday stuff, it gets the job done no problem. All in all, it’s a well rounded, stylish laptop. Would totally recommend.

Great quality product. I have been using it for multiple use cases (work, education, photo editing, developing AI applications etc). I have not played any games as such but seems like not so great for gaming, Keys are a bit sticky. Screen quality and touch sensitivity is perfect. I am using lenovo precision pen and it works perfectly on the screen. Great battery life. Audio seems to be better than previous yoga laptops. I have watched few Netflix shows and its great. Optical unlock is super quick.

If your needs are great battery life, a really nice touch screen, thin and elegant, yet still a lot of ports, this is a great laptop. It doesn't cost and it's perfect for highly mobile laptop use. The USB-c charging cable feels a tiny bit loose in the port, but USB devices click in super solid so I think it's just the power adapter design.

I’m not a fan of Lenovo, but this laptop changed my mind. It’s the right amount of resolution, the brightness could be better, but it’s good for the price point. I haven’t had any issues so this is a plus. Battery life is great when you’re on power saving mode like 6hours with mild use, three apps on.

I purchased this laptop a few days ago, and I dont want to put it down. This is my first Lenovo computer, the battery is really good and have no issues running programs, it is smooth. The display I would catergorize it as good, not amazing at 60hz and 2k. The icing on the cake for me would be the tablet function, although it is kind of heavy you can position it in a tent stance on a desk or lay it in tablet mode on your bed and scroll away. Touch screen is very responsive and the build quality along with the hinges is amazing. Im satisfied, was worried because i could not find a single review for this model along with the processor but I would highly recommend. NOTE: this is not a gaming computer, you can do light gaming but don’t expect to play call of duty with it. Look out for it going on sale, I purchased mine for $600.

I bought this laptop recently and it’s absolutely amazing! I dont do a whole lot of creative work on the go as I have a workstation desktop for that, but I do find myself needing to fire up photoshop every now an then. The Core Ultra 5 is a versatile processor that surprisingly can take a decent size photoshop file. Lenovo Yogas are durable and well made machines so its hard to complain about what I bought. I wish there was a TB model with the Core Ultra 5, but it isn’t the end of the world if I have to use an external SSD
