I returned one because of this issue and the one they replaced it with does the same. I can install updates and connect my accounts, then I can only input through the touchscreen.

Since we don't know the scope of the problems you're experiencing, to help resolve this issue, for now, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps: 1. Perform a static discharge/power cycle. To do so, first remove all cables connected to the device (power adapter, HDMI, external mouse, external keyboard, etc.). 2. Be sure device is powered off, then. press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. When done, re-attach all cables and insert the power adapter, letting the laptop charge for a couple minutes, then power up the machine as usual. 3. Try to update the drivers on the Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/. Type the machine serial number (S/N) on the search bar. Hit enter to search the details regarding that unit. Click on the Drivers and Software tab, head to the Manual Update tab. Filter the Operating System drop-down to Windows 11 and proceed to downloading / updating the drivers. Restart your laptop when updates are done. If your issue persists after these steps, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support directly at this number: 855-253-6686, to work with a representative for more in-depth troubleshooting. hinge failed under a year

Mine lives on a dock, which probably spared it, but hers wasn’t so lucky: under a year in, the hinge separated when opening the lid and lightly cracked the screen. After seeing multiple threads from other users with similar hinge problems, I’m disappointed and looking to switch back to Dell.

It happens at every operation, maybe after three minutes or after 30 minutes, it always happens. Later in the day or the next day the touchpad will function normally, until it fails again. I took laptop to Geek Squad where the tech observed the malfunction. Although the laptop is just weeks old and under warranty, the Geek Squad offered no assistance other than to give me the manufacturer's phone number. As a very loyal Best Buy customer, I am so disappointed in Best Buy's customer service.

I asked if they would make an exception to their crummy (toooo short) return window and was told politely NO...this my second screwed up Lenovo laptop....purchased and returned one 2 years ago with fresh out of the box dead USB ports...Lenovo was absolutely no help whatsoever zero zip nada....Geek folks very understanding but their hands are tied by Best Buy's horrible return/support policies..thanks for nothing..won't be back ..and this is my last ever Lenovo product

We could trade it in for another open box or new but the price had skyrocketed and we'd have to pay the difference.

Gave away my pickup order

Could have been avoided if they asked for gov id but store policy says they don't have. Person then took the items and returned them here in exchange for gift cards. Currently out the money, cannot understand how they can just give items that are paid for to anybody without I'd. Either gross incompetence or seasonal employee stealing customer's purchases. Filed a police report.

The final issue, it has turned off and will not start back. Ive had it 45 days and BEST BUY is of no help. Will never buy lenovo or at best buy again

Bad Speakers Crackling and Scratchy

When you increase or decrease the volume you hear a crackling, scratchy sound. You can also hear that crackling sound when you watch videos and turn up the volume.

Deceiving Computer Name 7i its NOT i7 processor.

I got in the trap of laptop name 7i and its not a intel i7 processor. Its my fault basically not the read computer processor description in detail I assumed its intel i7 and keept and opened after 15 days due to holidays engements etc. 2. Its heavy due to metal or aluminum body which gets hot quickly

We own a Lenovo PC and have had success with it, but his laptop froze and would not boot up. After the geek squad got it to work. It froze again. I went away from Lenovo and back to Dell – good decision.

Printing takes forever. 67 page document took over an hour. The transfer of documents, programs etc from the old computer is no where as good as transfers in the past.
