Good pc. Works fine for school. Screen should be a little brighter.

For the most part I like the laptop. The one thing that I do not care for and is a continual problem is the fingerprint scanner. It is so small that I have been having problems with the scanner reading my fingerprint. The laptop continually tells me that it cannot read my fingerprint and I have to use my pin. I would rate the fingerprint scanner on a scale of 1 to 10 as a 2. I would not recommend this laptop only for the fingerprint scanner issue. I’ve never had an issue with any other laptop and the fingerprint scanner.

I have had this laptop for over a year now and have 0 complaints with it. The screen is crisp and clear, it's snappy and a welcome addition having 16GB or RAM. I have dedicated gaming PCs, so I haven't tested that much with it. Battery life is amazing for my use cases. I used to carry a separate personal tablet and work laptop, but now this has replaced both for me. I bring it with me for both work and leisure trips. I pair it regularly with either my Quest 3 or Xreal Air glasses to add additional or larger screens. Build quality is also great. Would definitely recommend this laptop

I had an older model Yoga by Lenovo that lasted quite a while, so I decided to try them again after trying another brand in between. I definitely enjoy the larger screen size as I am getting older and it is getting harder to see. I was using a 13 inch screen on a previous computer, and font sizes scaled to that small screen are hard to read unless you zoom the page view in the web browser. Along with the larger screen size, you get a full keyboard with number pad and a larger battery capacity due to the larger cavity for all the guts of the laptop. The only downside is weight. It is heavier than the 13 laptop I had. Battery life is good. All manufacturers like to say they last so long, but in real world use, most folks won't get what is advertised as the max. In all I am getting over 10 hours of use and still have over 10% left on the battery. I could get more if I set the screen brightness down to the minimum, but it makes it harder to see text on the screen. The processor is mediocre, but I don't run any high end applications that require a higher end chip, so this works for me. I am not a gamer either, so the processor suits all my needs without spending a fortune on a higher end one. This one is great for every day use, email, web browsing, watching video etc. I have not had any issues with heat dissipation or overheating, even when running several browser windows and videos at the same time. This laptop came with 16 GB of RAM, which again is plenty for my needs, and seems to be more the standard now instead of the 8 GB. I am not a huge fan of Windows, but I had to break down and use it for certain applications I use, thus the purchase of this laptop. In all I am very happy so far with this laptop and would recommend it. My previous Lenovo laptop lasted me close to 5 years before I donated it to someone who could use it for some basic school work / documents etc.

16GB of DDR5 RAM, 512GB PCI-E SSD and a (NPU-enabled) Intel Core Ultra processor for $499?!..My prayers were more than fulfilled this Black Friday season! The laptop is absolutely stunning as well: beautiful, silky smooth, satin finish - sophisticated/premium-looking chassis..Lenovo shows PC laptops (in addition to specs/performance) can more than compete with Apple on looks/aesthetics as well! I couldn't have asked for anything more! Everything else here is a bonus: a beautiful 16" TOUCHscreen, full 1080p camera, full keyboard (with number keypad!) and backlit display, a fingerprint sensor and all the high-end ports I could need. The performance and battery life have been very impressive thus far (with modes for efficiency/battery life and high-performance) - has handled multiple video streaming scenarios, multi-tasking on multiple monitors and light gaming as well: various STEAM titles (and the new Marvel Rivals @ 4k 60hz display!). Hats-off to Lenovo for reinvigorating the "Yoga" series - with very high-specced, full-featured, luxury-looking laptops - at a very not-premium price tag (..eh-hem Apple). Big shout-out to Ducati-Lenovo MotoGP team as well for an incredible year of top-level racing..one of the best seasons in recent years! (Go Marquez in '25!!!)

I've been a huge fan of IBM/Lenovo laptops since I worked for a major consulting firm 20 years ago and was issued an IBM T43. I was so pleased with its durability and quality feel bought a refurb Z60 for personal use that served me well for 10 years until Windows 10 came out and it wasn't compatible. Fast forward another 10 years I was skeptical about Lenovo machines after IBM sold its laptop business to them and am pleased to be proven wrong. I visited my local Best Buy to casually look for a replacement for my Asus 2-in-1 (which still also works but won't run Windows 11). I had several parameters, starting with the 2-in-1 design and a separate numeric keyboard and compared this Lenovo with similar offerings from Asus, Dell, and HP. I'm happy to report that the quality feel of my old IBMs persists with the Yoga 7i in terms of keys that provide exactly the right amount of tactile feedback, a quiet touchpad that responds to deliberate inputs but resists inadvertent touches (one thing I found annoying about the Asus), a solid feeling case (far superior to a couple of Dells I purchased for my wife, but similar to the Asus), all the processing power I need for office applications, web browsing, and multimedia, and now that I use a home server for large data storage, more than adequate storage space in the 512GB SSD. Another neat feature of this Lenovo, which is reminiscent of the old IBMs, is a fingerprint reader, which I don't recall seeing on any of the competing brands. It seems like a small thing, but it's very convenient to be able to fire up your computer by simply touching a little square just below the right side of the keyboard. Serious gamers may disagree, but I'm also very happy with the screen. To my aging eyes, the 16" screen is also very clear with accurate color rendering and more than adequate refresh. I also like that this machine (like most newer ones) uses a standard USB-C port for charging (as well as data transfer), which provides additional flexibility vs. having to depend on proprietary chargers. After learning this unit was out of stock at my local "normal" Best Buy because of a $200 markdown, on a whim I traveled to the nearby outlet, and found this "open box good" unit for another $150 less. Once the very pleasant and professional sales rep unboxed it, mine was indistinguishable from a brand new one. Even better, after I got home, I registered it with Lenovo and they applied the warranty to my purchase date. I was so pleased with this machine that a couple of weeks later I purchased another open box Yoga 7i (identical to mine except for the AMD Ryzen 5 processor) for my son for another $225 less than I paid. I initially registered it with Lenovo and the site said the warranty was expired (believe it was a floor model), but sent the purchase receipt from Lenovo and they applied the warranty to my August 2024 purchase date and then allowed me to buy another three years of coverage for ~$100. He really likes his machine and made me aware of some features (some sort of XBox application) that he has found very useful. Just over a month into my ownership experience, I think it's pretty clear that I've been pleased with this laptop. Even at the regular price, I believe it offers great value for the money and more than meets the needs of normal users. Again, serious gamers may disagree, but Lenovo offers Core i7 and i9 versions with upgraded video that should meet their demands as well.

I bought this computer as a Christmas gift for my sister, who had a cheap Lenovo laptop from 2020 that had finally broken. We got this computer on sale for $499, and based on what we paid and the original value, it was well worth the money. The screen is beautiful and clear, the extra RAM works wonders for what she does, and the expansive storage is wonderful! She previously had a Core i3 so upgrading this Core Ultra 5 was amazing. Great computer and would buy again!

It Runs FL Studio PERFECTLY Loading apps are very fast It deals with some games at it its Highest Like GTA although you must turn of V-Sync And Light ray settings and Blurs on Some Games But new Games possibly have to run at low settings but overrall those games are splended. Some games crash but overrall they play well. Battery is Amazing. Keyboard Lighting setting is Amazing Two USB-C slots on same side Two regular usb slots on the other end. Amazing Big Screen To top it all its TOUCH SCREEN!!! This laptop came at a perfect price for me Lenovo definitely better than Dell,Microsoft, and Apple. This was perfect laptop for a blend of everything.

I actually really love this laptop. It has held up very well throughout this semester. I like the touchscreen on it and being able to flip it like a notebook to write with GoodNotes 16GB of RAM is the way to go, I have tons of tabs and programs open because of school and it runs great. I can also play some video games on it (namely, The Sims 4) with relatively no lag. It runs better on my laptop than my boyfriend's PC.

Great laptop. Replaced my HP. This laptop is lightweight and a good size. Appreciate the lighted keypad and touch screen. Excellent price point as well. Battery life is awesome!

Great Laptop. I use it of business. Touchpad is very sensitive but the touchscreen is awesome. Movie quality is good. Definitely worth the price. Battery life has been very good.
