Lenova laptop satisfaction

The tech support I received could have been a bit better. It took 3 visits as of today to get moist of the data transfer material correct. There is at least one more visit for sure to clean it up completely.

Good Laptop

My spouse has to always click and reconnect to WiFi and it will drop randomly. Drivers are all up to date. Forum posters on many different sites say they experience the same issue.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you. We appreciate your comments, as we will investigate the matter to make the necessary changes. In the meantime, we wish to provide the best experience possible, so if you'd like, we want to work with you to try to resolve this issue.
To start, if the drivers are already up to date, try these methods to see if they resolve the issue:
Network Reset--
- Right click the windows icon in the bottom right and select "Settings"(cogwheel) or search for it.
- Select the "Network & Internet" Icon.
- While in the "Status" tab, scroll down until you find "Network Reset"
- Click this and continue, then perform a computer restart.
- Find your network and connect to it (You will have to type in the password (SSID/Key) again to connect)
- Make sure you tick the box that says "Automatically connect to this device" or similar
Uninstalling Device + Drivers--
- Right click the windows icon in the bottom right and select "Device Manager"
- Navigate to the "Networks Adapter" tab and drop it down.
- Right click the "Wireless Network Adapter / WLAN device" and select "Uninstall Device"
- Tick the box "Delete the driver software for this device" if prompted.
- Perform a restart of the computer.
- Download and install the newest drivers through Lenovo Vantage or the Lenovo Support Page
- Just plot in the serial number for your device and hit enter, might have to hit it twice. Then head to Drivers & Software tab. Click on Manual Update tab, find the Operating Systems dropdown tab and choose your current windows version to see the intended drivers.
- Download the WLAN drivers and proceed to installation. Restart the machine when necessary.

I have been using it for 2 months. It has provided everything I need in a computer. This laptop is versatile enough to use at a stand up or a regular desk. The 16" Touchscreen is the right size for my use. I have added a wireless mouse and keyboard that I use on occasion.
