It took forever to open, etc. He is very pleased to get up each morning now and turn on a laptop that immediately opens and he can begin working

Not great for drawing

The laptop worked fine overall. The case has a bit of flex but feels strong enough, I'd just be careful when folding the screen back. For drawing, the stylus and cursor lagged behind my strokes, and lines came out jagged instead of smooth. I couldn't fix it through settings. For dev work, it was usable, but I should have gone with more memory. I ended up returning it.
