The battery life also lasts a long time so I don’t have to charge it in between classes everyday

Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and will affect the device’s power output leading to enhanced battery life. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.
Secondly, the Legion 7i allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Space app, Under the CPU and GPU Performance gauges you will find the option to toggle performance profiles. We suggest using Quiet mode which will lower the temperature of your Legion 7i when under load and reduce power consumption. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.

Really great value

Plenty of storage and ram. Keyboard is pleasant feeling and not flimsy. Screen is vibrant. Overall the laptop doesn’t feel cheap even though it’s priced low.Battery lasts hours and hours.

I’ve been using it every day since it arrived, and honestly, it’s been great. Performance: It’s fast. I can have a bunch of tabs, apps, and videos open and it still runs smoothly. No loud fan noise, no weird lag—just reliable performance for work and everyday stuff. Screen: The 16-inch touchscreen is one of my favorite parts. It’s bright, clear, and the extra screen space makes a bigger difference than I expected. Touch response is super smooth, and I like flipping it into different modes when I’m watching shows or just browsing. Build & Design: It feels solid and well-made. The hinge is sturdy, the body looks clean and modern, and even though it’s 16 inches, it’s not too heavy to carry around. It has a “premium” feel without being overly flashy. Battery Life: Battery life has been surprisingly strong. I can go most of the day without charging unless I’m doing something really demanding. Keyboard & Speakers: Typing on it feels comfortable, and the backlit keys are a nice touch. The speakers are better than what I’ve had on other laptops—good volume and clarity for watching videos or listening to music. Overall: I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a great all-around laptop—fast, reliable, and super versatile. If you’re thinking about getting the Yoga 7i, I’d say go for it. I’m glad I did.

Upgraded Lenovo laptop.

A bit of a learning curve for some over 74 but got it worked out and in use. Fewer ports that older unit so I guess I will need to master cloud use. The touch screen use is an improvement over old unit. Old unit has a disc drive so it will be my video play unit!

It runs very smoothly and without lag when switching between apps, and programs load very fast. I’m also happy with the screen quality — it’s great for regular to mid-level graphic design work. However, some heavy programs can take a little longer to open, but overall the performance is very good.

Windows allows users to adjust the touchpad based on the user's preference. You can make the touchpad require more fingers or less to complete gestures or even change the pointer visibility and speed. To start, launch the "Settings" app, then choose "Bluetooth & devices" from the left-hand menu, scroll down and select "Touchpad" from the choices on the right.

Worth the Cost

When received, I had some issues with connecting my 2nd monitor and when trying to connect earbuds to Bluetooth; however I used ChatGPT.com which walked me through the steps to resolve all the issues. The ultimate resolution was making sure all the latest system updates were installed. The only reason for the 4 stars is because I have not had the laptop long enough.

Worth the upgrade
