I (and she too) miss the track point, but the backlit keyboard, though not of the quality of a ThinkPad keyboard, is better than many other laptops. The screen is gorgeous. The hinge is beautiful. Does not have the luxurious feel of a unibody Mac (the bottom is plastic), but I do like the rubbery wrist rest compared to a cold aluminum slab. Altogether still a handsome and speedy machine.

The unit is very well built and solid. Functionally, it performs flawlessly and Lenovo has moved the power button halfway up the right edge which keeps if from being accidentally pressed. Screen is bright and clear. Converts easily to tablet or table modes and adjusts display output accordingly. I carry mine extensively.

I returned this and spent the extra money for a Microsoft Surface Book and could not be happier.
