I needed a new computer badly, as my old, referbished, hundred dollar computer was not meeting my needs any long (work full time, school full time). After looking and looking (and goong off recommendations from others), I purchased the Lenovo.....i am not dissapointed. I habe actually been extremely impressed. The colomputer functions amazingly well, touch screen is a great addition ( thought I didn't need it, and I use the touch screen constantly) . it easily turns into a tablet. The picture is good, camera works without glitches. I am so, so happy with this purchase!

I use it for college & its perfect. It was an open-box deal plus additional slight damage discount combined with a student discount which gave me an incredible price. The damage it had on it was a tiny scuff & a tiny ding on the side of the laptop. It had to be pointed out to me otherwise I wouldn't have noticed. My new iPhone had more damage after removing it from the box & putting a protective barrier on it & that was >$1000!! I also like how the laptop looks & that it says Yoga on the outside of it. IDK why but I do.

Weight and size of laptop is not much more than a Surface. Weight is less when you include power cords. I have been using laptop for only 3 weeks now, but power and speed is quite satisfactory and camera is crisp and clear. Cons: I selected the bronze color, and unfortunately the keyboard is difficult to read in bright lighting. They could have used a better color for the keyboard to make the letters more readable. Also, the video slot is for a C cable. So you will likely need to purchase a C to HDMI adaptor to connect to video. Overall I recommend this laptop for Windows users

Don't waste your money

I ordered from Best Buy and it was shipped to me. From the moment I opened this new, it would shut down if you gave it the slightest nudge or moved the screen. After a while I determined that the power switch was sticking and not fully releasing after being pressed on. It would cut power to the laptop and shut off. Once I figured this out, I was able to manipulate the power switch to the fully open position and I wouldn't have any issue. I immediately called my local Best Buy, hoping I could bring it in to have them inspect and issue me another if warranted. However, not any fault of their own, due to the Corona virus, they were not looking or repairing any products. You couldn't even go into a store. So, I have a laptop that once everything gets opened back up, I might find the time to drop it off and see if they'll fix it or replace it. Spend your $700.00 elsewhere.

Pretty good laptop if u dont use it for big tasks

I mainly use it for school and to stream movies and shows, occasionally play some games and dont experience lag except for on big games like Destiny 2. The only problem i have is the short battery life and how my computer sounds like its about to take off when i charge it and use it, somwtimes even when its just sitting on my desk charging. The fan gets pretty loud but its really the only downside, besides short battery life.

The price could not have been better for a High School graduation present. Best Buy always seems to have a great deal when I need something and this was no exception. The touch screen feature brings it up a level from my son's previous laptop and the storage and speed were great for this price. Nothing fancy that you don't need and many frequently used apps were preloaded for ease of getting right into using it.

This computer can continue running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. My wife started her home business due to COVID and has been using my computer (Happy Wife Happy Life). I actually am very protective of my limited edition Star Wars yoga so thought I’d buy her another Yoga as I’ve had great experience with mine (except for the battery capability). This one rocks on the battery capability (10+ hrs unplugged and running strong), fast, great sharp pictures, weight, tablet/traditional laptop features, and overall simplicity but classiness. Wife is very happy and has left my computer alone. Double win!

I got this from a recommendation by the Wirecutter. This computer is so fast! The fingerprint security is super convenient and works really well. He also really likes the camera security switch at the top - especially now with all the zoom calls and such. The one downside is if you want to put the computer in tablet mode, the speakers seem to emit from the keyboard area, which gets placed upside down so we need to increase volume. But it's not a big deal. Really great value.
