First off all, I went through 2 of these before I got it right. These instructions may save you having to buy a second one:
Additional tools needed:
- Bright flashlight
- Can of compressed air
- Blue painters tape
Steps:
1 - Aim the flashlight at a raking angle on the screen so that you can see the dust on the screen
2 - Use the compressed air to blow the obvious dust off the screen
3 - Use the dust cloth provided in the protector package to wipe down the screen
4 - Use the compressed air to blow off the dust left by the dust cloth
5 - Wait about 10 minutes for dust to settle
6 - Use small pieces of blue painters tape to dab away dust that has landed on the screen since step 4
7 - When there is no more dust landing on the screen, proceed to step 2 on the protector packaging
When peeling off side 1 of the protector, do not peel it off completely! Just peel it off enough to expose the top edge of the protector. Roll down the backing and line up the top of the camera and light holes in the protector with the computer's camera and light. Slowly unroll the protector and use the scraper as you go to get bubbles out -- it is much easier to get bubbles out as you roll down than after you've put the entire protector in place.
Leave side 2 on until you get rid of all the bubbles.
WARNING: You have to be VERY careful when peeling off side 2!!! It can lift up the protector and add bubbles underneath. I had this happen after I successfully removed all the bubbles -- I put side 2 back and repeated the process of pushing out all bubbles.
Since this was a gift for my wife, I went through this without my wife seeing how difficult it was. She thought it was just beautiful.
Advanced operation:
Do all this in a bathroom to reduce the free-floating dust in the air. First run the shower with hot water for a couple minutes to increase the humidity to near maximum. Turn off the water, close the bathroom door and wait **with your computer** outside the bathroom for 15 minutes; dust particles are attracted to water vapor and drop out of the air. When you go back in the bathroom there will be virtually no dust in the air and you will have less problems with dust clinging to the screen.

Nearly impossible to install!

Upon removing the first protective sheet from the film it becomes highly statically charged. It attracts any dust and hair in the area. This then makes it virtually impossible to install without a myriad of bubbles that cannot be removed with the included plastic scraper. You would need a "Clean Room" atmosphere to successfully install this product.

this is a piece of garbage. do yourself a favor and wait until zagg comes out with an invisibleshield. i've installed about 20 screen protectors and consider myself an advanced installer. my friends come to me because i always get them on perfectly and without bubbles or trash. not so with this one...

As with any screen protector using this install method, dust can ruin your day if you're not careful. Find a nice clean room and mist some water into the air before starting to help remove dust from the area, because if any dust sticks to the back of the protector you're sunk.
$40 price tag is extremely high considering how much cheaper the same product can be found online, if you're not too worried about potential damage from shipping.
Other than that its a solid, very clear screen protector that does what it's supposed to do once you get it installed right.

This screen protector is horrible!!!!

This screen protector is trash. It is too big for the monitor and needs to be trimmed in order to fit the Yoga 13 which is what it is actually advertised for. My first screen protector was from China "Evecase". It worked great, cost $10, and was proper size. The only downside was that it took 2 months to arrive from amazon. In hindsight waiting 2 months for a screen protector up to spec was much better than picking up a $40 piece of trash like this on demand.

It's expensive and the quality is poor. After a couple hours of usage, it's covered by my fingerprint. Lenovo should do better than this and IMO it's not even worth $10.

Difficult to Impossible To Install

I purchased the protector only to remove it and throw it away. I am very careful and articulate about doing fine work. I found it difficult to line up properly and than have bubbles and lint between the protector and screen that I could not remove. Yes, I totally endorse the concept but the implementation is awful to impossible. I wish I could get my money back. Do not waste your money on this item but be care with your screen..

This screen protector is fantastic, except for the price. I looked around for other protectors, but this was the only one in its size that Best Buy or any local stores offered, and I needed the protector quickly. So, I HAD to buy this protector. Again, it serves its purpose, but the price ($40 for ONE PROTECTOR) IS RIDICULOUS.

I can where it might be difficult to install but I had the Best Buy Rep. install for free. It took 20 minutes but no issues, no bubbles, no dust...I cant even tell its on.
