We are sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition. We'd like to work with you to try to resolve this.
To start, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition features a camera E-shutter that can be activated on the right side of the computer to cut power to the camera for privacy purposes. If this is switched on, you will see a red indicator if activated and a pop-up graphic on the screen of your computer that shows a camera symbol with a line through it if the camera has been digitally deactivated.
If the switch is off, yet your camera is not functioning, we recommend checking for updates through Windows Update settings and Lenovo Vantage. To navigate to Windows updates, select start on the taskbar (windows logo) or press the windows key on the keyboard then select Settings. In Settings, select Windows Update, and then select the "Check for updates" button. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required. If you didn’t have any updates that required a restart, it’s still a good idea to restart your device to make sure any pending updates are installed.
Additionally, check for updates in the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled on Windows devices. You can check by opening the app, navigating to the device tab, and selecting the “check for updates” option. If there are updates to install, follow the onscreen directions to finalize those updates. If your issues persist after these steps, we then recommend reaching out to Lenovo Support at this number: 877-453-6686, for more in-depth troubleshooting.

Open Box was too aggressive in wiping it clean!

However, this one was marked as excellent and including none of the original instructions. Most importantly they had completely wiped it and had not re-installed drivers for the touchpad, the touchscreen, or WiFi! Since "connect to the internet" is the 3rd question when starting Windows, this basically bricked it since we were using the single USB port for a mouse. Thankfully, the return process was no problem and we ended up ordering a brand new one. Please do better on Open Box items KY BestBuy!

I do think retailers share a responsibility in making sure what they are selling works in all use case scenarios. It seems most users of this laptop and Lunar Lake chips are okay. But still there are cases where, if you're not just checking emails and looking at reddit, a user will have a laptop that is honestly useless and problematic. I had read online that Lunar Lake issues had been fixed, tried again here, the issues I face are still happening. Stuttering, touchpad going berserk, high cpu usage for no reason. It's a shame because on paper and the 7i aura laptop are beautiful until you start using it as a power user.

Worst laptop purchase in over 25 years

It locks up and has to be rebooted through a "hard" shutdown process. Just when I thought it had corrected itself, a Lenovo update came through and it started all over again. The Best Buy techs are great. They said I could bring it in...probably just a glitch in the operating system. But I should not have to do this with a brand new computer! My prior laptop was a Lenovo Yoga and was probably the best laptop I've had. Very disappointed in my purchase!

Amazing Laptop

Battery life is crazy, i have yet to buy a laptop over my business career that lasts this long. I charged the battery twice in two days. Both sessions I got 12-14 hrs on a single charge. Laptop is completely quiet. Laptop is completely cool even when plugged in. This is a great product and something I have been searching for over 20 yrs. Be aware that the computer has to learn your activities and adjust the power lvls. I was cautious at first but the computer started to last longer and longer on a charge.

Keyboard Malfunction within 1st Month

Its shift is not working after the very first month of use for no reason. I sent the laptop to repair. Lenovo replaced the keyboard. I got it back yesterday. At first, the shift restored. But within 24 hours, the shift is malfunctioning again1... Very poor quality
