Great tablet for your value. Battery life is good. The stand on the back could be better as the magnetic part is not that strong.

After trying out a lot of different tablets I finally decided to go with this lenovo tablet. I had an Ipad Pro m2, Ipad air M2, Samsung Galaxy Tab s9 ultra and s10 ultra and many more. I always traded them in because they just didnt feel like a good enough value. Luckily this released and is now my favorite tablet especially when you buy it on sale! I use a lenovo laptop already so I had trusted their products. It’s a really good tablet for my calculus college classes and already having a pen and keyboard case was an instant buy. I will say because I do use the pen all the time when taking notes, I noticed every now and then like once or twice a week the pen disconnects for about 5 seconds and then reconnects. Maybe its just mine but it can get annoying sometimes.

I bought the tablet witu the hopes of an amazing desktop like experience and the smart connect mode to my computer for an extended display. What I got instead was an overpowered android tablet with desktop functionality as an after thought. The smart connect extend display is locked at 30Hz! and the desktop mode is very glitchy lenovo support is terrible and offer little to no aid. For anyone thinking about buying this for a desktop like experience I would say save your money for a real yoga book. For those looking for a good tablet, I would say get it, but be ready to drop 20 or more dollars extra on a launcher like Smart Launcher as its built in one is horrid. Also do not expect any support from lenovo as they will forward you to software support for pretty much any problem, and at the end of those calls they will inform you that software support costs money, alot of money. Not only do they want you to pay for the hardware but also for their developers to fix bugs that shouldn’t exist at this pricepoint. Also you better have a cloud subscription because it is 256 GB non expandable.

When first unpacking the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus you will find out immediately this is not a cheaply made tablet. Weighing in at about a pound and a half with kickstand attached, it feels unbelievable sturdy. In the box you will find the tablet, magnetic kickstand, tab pen, detachable keyboard, and charging cord and block. When first powering up you will see the clear 3K picture of the12.7" touchscreen. There are 3 options of security to unlock your tablet. Password, fingerprint or facial recognition. I setup all 3 and all work flawlessly. As an android phone user, setup was super simple. I was able to connect my phone to the tablet and import all my apps, pics, docs, etc. In just a matter of minutes my tablet was ready to use. The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is an amazing combo of tablet, laptop and phone. I've used tablet mode to stream videos and watch movies on the vibrant 12.7" 3K, anti-reflection display. The easy to attach keyboard transforms this tablet into laptop mode. Here you can use the tablet as a laptop as it automatically turns into PC mode. Write emails, create documents, or browse the internet like you are using a PC. Jump between browsing windows, apps, work docs flawlessly with the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor with 256 gigs of storage, 16 gigs of RAM on Android version 14, even though specs say version 15. You can also send and receive texts on Google messages on the tablet. As a Samsung phone user I love to use the stylus ( Lenovo Tab Pen on the tablet ) to jot down notes, circle or point at objects on photos and make handwritten notes that I can convert into print. This Lenovo Tab Pen is very responsive on the tablet screen. It does attach magnetically to the top of the screen, but I just wish it had a dedicated port to insert it to make it easier not to lose it. The Harman Kardon speakers are a nice touch for this tablet. The sound quality coming out of the 4 sub and 2 tweeters is better than any tablet or laptop I have heard. When listening to music the sound was a little tinny, but seemed to get better as I turned it up. The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus does have Bluetooth so if you plan on listening and want great stereo sound, just connect your favorite portable speaker for louder and clearer sound. This Yoga Tab is also armed and ready for the multiple AI tasks you plan to throw at it. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with Qualcomm's Hexagon NPU delivers 20 TOPS of performance. I tried out the included Lenovo AI Now but it was a little confusing. I was able to upload some files from Google Drive and get the AI assistant to locate them easily, but did not find organizing or summary processing to be very useful. Maybe some more exploring the app will produce better results. I do often use Googles assistant and Gemini which I found worked even faster on the Yoga than on my phone. Battery life has been incredible for me. Using it the first day streaming, listening to music and just general exploring the new tablet for 5 or 6 hours, the battery life was still above 50%. I don't ever see myself using it more than that per day so I should be able to go 2 to 3 days without a charge. The nice thing is the included block has 45 watt rapid charging for a quick power up when the battery get low. With all you get from this Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus at the price of $699 I don't se where you can go wrong buying it.

Superb tablet! I came from the Lenovo P12 and the Yoga Tab Plus is leaps and bounds better. The biggest upgrades, to me, are the snappy performance, the sleeker stand, and a pen that has amazing feedback. A definite value for money king with the keyboard, stand, and pen included.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is a solidly built, comprehensive tablet with an eye toward the AI future. I am impressed with its overall heft and quality construction. The keyboard and smart pen are both easy to use and thoughtfully designed. The screen is large and quite clear and bright although I was a bit curious as to why the device does not feature an OLED display given its positioning as a creator's tool. The Yoga's specs are impressive with the newest generation Snap Dragon chip, 16MB of RAM (not expandable), and 256MB of storage offering a generous platform for the avalanche of AI apps that are sure to come. The OS launched with the Yoga is actually Android 14 even though there is some indication from other sources that it was supposed to be version 15. However that makes me confident that 15 is imminent. Battery life is very good and the included BMS software intelligently allows you to choose options that will keep your battery healthy for the long term. I was pleasantly surprised to see that a 45 watt charging brick is included in the box - a rarity these days! The unpacking and setup could not have been smoother with the tablet syncing with my phone to transfer my Android environment over seamlessly. Overall performance is VERY good. I experienced no lag running any applications. The UI is familiar, snappy and easy to customize. The keyboard and pen integrate with no issues and the overall ergonomics are excellent. I already mentioned being puzzled by the lack of an OLED display. I also have accidently turned the unit off (or maybe just put it to sleep) due to the positioning of the power button on the side of the unit. If you pick it up or reposition it you too may find yourself inadvertently going dark! The only other nit is I can find no defined place to store the pen for transport. The pen magnetically attaches to the top of the display for charging but that is not secure enough for travel. In the meantime I have been placing it in the crease between the keyboard and the screen but that doesn't feel right. In summary, I want to emphasize that this is a quality product with a flagship feel. I also feel that the pricing is very competitive, the styling attractive, and the architecture more than ready for the AI onslaught to come. Recommended!

I am nothing if not an Apple fanboy... but I don't want this to be another review comparing non-Apple products to Apple products. But also... I can't help it, at least to provide some context. Apple seems to 'run the world' when it comes to how we use particular products. This is largely because of the ubiquitous nature of Apple's market share, specifically in things like earbuds, watches, tablets and phones. I remember my first iPad. I remember the confusion around (and Apple's subsequent response to) 'how we should view "tablets" as a unique market segment.' And by and large, I think the world has conformed to this expectation, wherein a phone is different from a tablet, and a tablet is different from a computer. I would argue this has been largely disappointing to many who view tablets as an opportunity to move the bar forward in the computing space, with direct opponents to the idea like Microsoft with its Surface lineup. So much of my experience has been with [many, many] iPads over the last decade and a half. I've owned a decent number of Android tablets as well, from many manufacturers, and they (generally speaking) tend to disappoint in several ways. And in that sense, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet Plus is... refreshing. We'll start with design, which is where the title of this review comes from. It looks high class, fancy, pretty even. I see some design similarities with the Pixel 7 and 8, with a large 'hump' along the back that houses the cameras, but runs the entire width of the device (and in the Yoga's case, this hump runs along the width of the device in 'landscape,' as opposed to the Pixel's 'portrait'). In some ways this is weird, but with the included magnetic kickstand, it can lay flat on a table. In the box you get the tablet, magnetic kickstand, keyboard, stylus, power brick and power cable. And I don't want to bury the lead here: this is all for $699, and it doesn't disappoint. The stylus is phenomenal (albeit a bit of the light side), the keyboard perfectly functional, and the trackpad near perfect. The included power brick pushes 45W, meaning you don't need to purchase an additional fast-charge brick. This is truly an all-in-one package, something I don't know that I've seen at this price point. My issue with most Android tablets has been performance. Such is NOT the case this time around, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 16GB of RAM make easy work of any task you might hope to accomplish on this device. Add to that a brilliant 12.7", 144Hz capable 3K screen, and the aforementioned input mechanisms, and the Yoga Tablet Plus is a wonderfully capable and enjoyable to use device. I found it great for productivity, and absolutely wonderful for media consumption, thanks to its great screen and a Harmon Kardon 6-speaker system that rivals any (and I do many ANY) tablet on the market. Honestly, given the price point and the included accessories I was really concerned about the user experience suffering, and I was pleasantly surprised to find no major gripes. I do, however, have a few minor irritations that I believe can be worked around or addressed. The screen is gorgeous, but it is a 3K screen that has a strange aspect ratio. I would call this "wider" than normal in landscape mode, and for multitasking and media consumption that is fine...but the way that some apps are stretched to this screen can cut off content or controls; I noticed this mostly with game apps that are meant to be run in portrait mode, where I didn't have access to menu controls or entire areas of the play area. Additionally, the power button's built-in fingerprint reader doesn't seem to consistently read my fingerprints after several attempts at re-registering them. This was more of a slight inconvenience as I can enable the facial recognition for unlocking the device. I want to quickly mention the included stylus, which had a combination of both 'good' and 'bad' traits to it. For the built-in Lenovo note taking app, I friggin' LOVED the pen's haptic feedback that honestly made writing on glass feel and sound almost exactly like writing on paper. It was a wonderful surprise to say the least, as I think most times a stylus is a pretty basic and boring accessory. I've not said much about the Yoga Tablet's multitasking capabilities, which far go beyond what I'm used to as a long time iPad user: the sheer number of *ways* that you can use this device--whether it be for traditional "laptop" productivity work, "tablet" entertainment, content creation with the included stylus, and the ability to bounce between these different capabilities with ease was kind of mind boggling. Kudos to Android and the folks at Lenovo to package this product in a way that make it a true multi-faceted device that can adapt based upon the user's need (or needs). While I'm admittedly not used to having so many choices around how I use a tablet, it did leave me feeling a little confused on how I was *supposed to* use it. Yes, it seems that it can cover a very wide gamut of use cases, but there's a borderline feature bloat to this product in that it can be used in so many ways, I as a user don't really know what the most efficient ways to use it really are. I know this seems like a weird thing to complain about, and it probably is: but with only a few days to gather thoughts on a review, it makes testing the full set of features and getting really comfortable with the different use cases difficult. That said, I think with time I will grow to love this full featured and highly capable tablet. I already mentioned the price, which brings home the 'wow' factor of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet Plus. $699 is a bargain for such a broadly useful product, and while the extensive feature set seems a bit overwhelming at first, it seems to perform well, and given the included accessories, this would be a hard product to pass up.

I’ve been using Android devices my whole life, but after several months I still can’t get used to the interface on the Lenovo Yoga tablet. The interface feels very inconvenient and not user-friendly, and sometimes it even has performance glitches. Honestly, I regret not buying a Samsung instead. If I get a chance to return or exchange this tablet, I will definitely switch to Samsung.
