Attempted to play it on a bluray player and 4k bluray player with no luck. The formatting on the disc is ridiculous.

A good movie with drama and suspense. Two grandparents who just want their grandchild back and will go to extreme measures to get their grandchild back.

Good movie. lots of drama, with heartfelt love for family. I enjoyed it, and was bittersweet to me at the end.

For starters – both Diane Lane and Kevin Costner really set the tone as this thriller unfolds. It is a rough, tough movie along the lines of a Greek tragedy, and it very effectively asks the question – what would you do to save your grandchild. The background to the story-lines setting is 1960’s Montana and all the film shots were period correct. George was the moral fiber and Margaret was the caring mother, there was an authentic connection between them, and their journey to reunite their family was superbly crafted. This film will not disappoint its audience!

A definite chick flick. I gave it to my sister. I am not a drama fan.

An intense drama which should have won the Academy Award for Best Picture. This movie puts Nomadland to SHAME! The Academy Awards are a joke. Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Lesley Manville all deserved Oscars. Kevin Costner turns in one of his most understated but intense performances. Diane Lane turns in her best performance since Secretariat. She just won't let it go! She's the mama Terminator. And you've never seen scary until you've seen Lesley Manville WOW! Blanche Weboy is one crazy B!TCH

Pretty good movie. Costner plays a character sort of like the one he plays in Yellowstone. Takes place in the country, but not too much of a western. The “evil” family does a good job of making you feel creeped out. Won’t spoil it, but I wish it had a different/better ending. Just when you think it’s coming to the end, it abruptly stops and rolls the credits.

The packaging for this movie, by which I mean the cardboard cover, with the movie poster on the cover, as well as on the plastic cover underneath, made me feel excited about having bought this classic movie, which I saw in theatres 3 times. I love this movie. Incredible action, complicated points of view, an ending that I did not see coming: awesome.

Ugggggg!!! Knew it had to be sad by title but, tears and tears and more tears. Kevin Costner is such a good actor! It was a very good movie plot! There's some crazy folks in this movie that need to be on a deserted island with no means of escape and should never be living amongst humans!!

I love anything Kevin Costner is in. This was quite different from roles he usually plays. I was on the edge of my seat because I didn't know what was going to happen. It was quite intense. I cried a lot. I won't give away anything. It was a very good movie. When you love your children or grandchildren you will protect them.

Love anything that has Kevin Costner in it. Along with the bonus of Diane Lane. Perfect movie for them. Enjoyed the story. Grandparents will do anything for their grandkids to be safe. Was a little upset with the ending but I don’t think it could end any other way.

This is a tough movie to watch perhaps because of all of the bullying that exists in today's world. Seeing the way these individuals treated people that they did not know in violent ways was very difficult. It does speak to the depth that some grandparents will go to ensure that their children are treated well.

It is really good story. I never read the book, so I can’t compare. I don’t think it has a ton of replay value. I would watch it again if it’s on tv or showing a friend. The video quality is good and and so is the audio. Wish there was a 4K release with all the Scenic shots.

A great cast brings to life this Larry Watson thriller. After the death of their son, Margaret and George's daughter-in-law remarries into a dangerous family. They leave Montana to rescue her and their grandson before it's too late.

I purchased this movie for my mom since she is always saying there is nothing on TV. This is a very good movie to watch; enjoyed seeing Kevin Costner in a settled role protecting what was his.
