I bought it for the novelty. I was a die hard Neil Young fan 40 years ago in college. I thought the old cuts would be interested. Probably would have been if recorded normally instead of with 1930's technology

This is a great collection of Neil's tunes. If you're a fan, like me, you will appreciate the talent and voice that he brings to songs. Simple, beautiful, heartfelt. Gotta love this guy!

as a big Neil young fan I was looking forward to hearing him sing some of these classics. When it advertised "low fidelity" they really mean low fidelity. It was hard to listen to.

Neil should have left this one in the vault. Song selection was ok but the recording method left a lot to be desired.

I have been a Neil Young fan for a long time. This might be the worst (cd, album) that I can remember buying. Neil should remember that a lot of people put there hard earned money into some of these purchases. I didn't mind the 2 1971 acoustic recording that have the same songs on them but this is were I draw the line. Neil I applaud you with some of the work that you do but maybe its time to retire to the ranch.

Neil always surprises and this album is no exception. Sort of lo-fi, Neil takes it to the garage with covers of great songs.

Another look at N Young. Includes a variety of songs - classic covers, his older stuff and some new songs.

A pretentious novelty recording by someone who should know he can do better. This would be a great concept by another artist, but not from one whose music aready sounds like it was recorded in a recording booth. Sounds calculated and pre fabricated.

Neil Young is one of the greatest song writers of our time. This is a variation of old and new Neil and a few tributes mixed in. This CD is a very different listening experience.

Neil keeps on Rockin' In The Free World--this time around with the lo-fi 'Letter Home' recorded at Jack White's studio. More amazing lyrics & tunes from Mr Young, Highly Recommended!
