Having to hold the button down to speak to someone is not ideal, but manageable. Of major concern is the lack of the camera that came with the system in order to add additional cameras. This is not good if you want to monitor more than one room.

Allows you to move about the house and still monitor your child. plays music and allows you to hear and talk to your child through the camera. Camera has great range and nice coverage area. overall great system.

However this system offers more functions such as playing songs and temperature monitor. So if the add-on function is important to you, go ahead and buy this one. Otherwise, the picture quality is relatively poor than most of monitor cams.

The screen is larg which I like, but could bother some at night while sleeping because of the brightness. Overall though I would definitely recommend.
