Minimalistic lock

I brought a couple of these locks for a few reasons which are:
The minimalist look and feel to it. I didn’t want a lock that had an oversized look.
The ease of integration into Apple’s ecosystem along with all the additional features available within HomeKit.
Lastly, the price, which was roughly cheaper during BestBuy’s holiday sale.

I'm thrilled with this smart lock for my Airbnb. From the outside, it appears to be a normal deadbolt. Hold the iPhone or the Apple Watch (with the revokable digital key in the wallet) just above the keyhole, and the smart lock activates to lock or unlock the door, and it plays a chime. I added the keypad accessory for visitors without access to digital keys. Digital keys and keypad codes can be easily created and assigned to a name from the app, for permanent or temporary access with an activation date and time and a deactivation date and time. The installation and setup were simple with the instructions provided. It came with 2 metal keys and 2 keychain RF cards that were simple to program from the app. The battery is in the deadbolt itself, requiring no tools to change it. Downside with the keypad: Although you can assign codes in the app, you must be within Bluetooth range of the lock for the code programming to transfer to the lock. This means I cannot create numeric codes while away from the property - or I just haven't figured out how to do that yet. I can, however, create digital keys from anywhere that can be sent by text to the guest for immediate use, so this Level Lock is my solution. Love it.

Works great! The apple home is a little difficult to set up but works very well! Bery sturdy and looks much better than the weird button locks!

Installed on back door of my new house. Very simple set up and very hidden look. Purchased the additional keypad for the door for added ease of entry. Only disappointment is that it will not connect to the internet without the additional (also expensive) connect hub

This level is designed to enhance my older LEVEL smart lock. It has improved and expanded my home ecosystem, offering additional entry options. I particularly appreciate the integration with Apple, allowing me to use my iPhone and Apple Watch for locking and unlocking, which I find truly impressive. Setting it up was a breeze, taking just a few minutes to have it fully operational. Later on, I added it to the Apple HomeKit app, and the option to add it to the Wallet app's home key popped up. My only disappointment with this lock is its lack of Wi-Fi capability, limiting my ability to adjust its settings when I'm only connected to Bluetooth, which requires me to be near the lock at home. Remote control is solely accessible through Apple HomeKit and is restricted to locking and unlocking. However, the various locking and unlocking options, like using a card or key, are valuable features to have. Overall, the lock performs admirably, and I'm delighted with the upgrade.

Amazing product. Looks good, much better than those blocky locks. Took a bit to understand the setup (especially the Apple home portion) but once it was setup it was pretty smooth and worked as expected.

Switched from my August smart lock to this and have no regrets. August was constantly draining batteries and was pretty spotty. With this I have spare keys. Use my watch all the time to unlock and also assigned NFC cards to family members. Way better.

The smart lock is amazing. I absolutely love how easy it was to install and how it’s even easier to unlock with just a tap of my Apple Watch gone are the days that I would have to pull out my keys in order to unlock my door. Makes getting inside, even with my hands full, a breeze.

We decided to use this in addition to the Schlage connected locks and while these are much smaller and unobtrusive, they do lack the power to force the bolt to close on larger, heavier doors with weather seals. Nice App but most importantly they integrate into HomeKit.

I like that it works with Apple Home Kit. Had to purchase an Applepod mini to use home kit to it’s fullest potential. My kids can use their watches to unlock it. The touch to unlock is usually hit or miss. Waiting to see if it was worth the price.

It was hard for me to pick a good lock due to living in a condominium, where looks matter. Level locks works great, easy to install, application was helpful. They should absolutely make a door knob too!

Got it as a gift for a relative - it was easy to install and the app seems simple enough. They like it. It's nice that you can unlock the door with a phone or smartwatch, so you can go out for a walk without carrying too much.

Review after a few month of usage. Setup was easy and works well with Bluetooth when in range.
The issues were the following:
1) Battery died within a few months
2) When the door is slightly pushed the lock jams
3) Needed to buy Apple Home Pod for operating it via Apple home.
4) Many a times the status of the lock in Apple home is "No Response" so defeating the whole purpose.
I will not recommend use of this product

This lock design is very impressive. For those that want the functionality of a smart lock with a more contemporary look this is the way to go. It blends so nicely with the satin nickel finish of the door knob. The installation was mostly straightforward but had to slightly adjust my deadbolt hole so it fit better. Probably more of a knock on the original hole drilled. The door is also old and I’m sure has been weathered significantly.

This lock looked great and was very excited for it had to make some adjustments to my door for it to fit so when i found out it went theough batteries in 2 days it was a very big let down a $200 something lock that constantly does not work is really bad. Found a thread for it on redit that has a lot of people experiencing the same problem, honestly save your money and try a different lock spending money on batteries or even if you buy the rechargeble ones youll need to change them out daily and frankly takes away any of the point in spending soo much money on a lock too have to find ways to work with it, id rate it lower if i could.

I really like it, especially with the unlock when getting home. Takes a little bit of time for it to register I am at the door but having my hands full, I dont mind the small wait. The biggest problem I have with the lock is the battery. Less than a month of usage, I have had to replace the battery 3 times now. Seems like a somewhat common issue others have had, will probably update after trying to get a replacement.
