  • Great Z-Wave Dimmer

    I keep converting my dumb switches to these dimmers for my smart home. I now own 16 DZ6HD Z-wave dimmers, along with a handful of DD0SR companion switches and a ZW4SF Z-wave fan switch all from Leviton. They all work great with Home Assistant. Only downside is, like many smart switches, they are on the bulky side. I was able to use wago connectors to save space in some busy wall boxes. With this SKU, the switch comes with a white 1-gang screwless wallplate and a wire for the neutral pigtail.

    There is a lot wrong with this product related to working with Ring - it simply doesn't work. While it 'connects' to Ring, the functionality is worthless unless you think that being able to log into your Ring app to turn it on and off is great functionality. There is no scheduling, no connecting it to your other Ring lights, nothing. Just on and off - and you really have to dig into the app to even do that. It's essentially a $50 dimmer light as it stand now. Maybe Leviton will add Ring functionality in the future - until then, stay away.

    This switches make is so easy to control all my lights! Much better than replacing each individual bulb
