The lexmark cartridges are the most expensive genuine cartridges. Lexmark is kinda ridiculous with their price point, in the future I am completely staying away from lexmark printers. If you do have to purchase a cartridge though, the High-Yields are the way to go, you get a lot more print pages, & if you set the printer to "quick print" you get even more pages out of the cartridge. The "quick print" feature is about the only good feature the printer has.

High yield cartridge is the best value for the money, especially with lexmark products. I haven't counted the pages but I believe I'm getting multiple times the number of pages i get with the standard cartridges. this is my 3rd high yield cartridge, after using these I would never buy another std size ink cartridge for my lexmark all in one.

Good price and recieved quickly I would recommend to friends and family.

The ink cartridge lasts a long time for personal use.

Tried several times to install this cartridge into the printer. Kept getting an error message that said not compatible with printer. It was finally decided by the Geek Squad that the cartridge was no good. Brought it back to Best Buy only to find out they do not carry the 36XL in the store. In fact, very few Lexmark cartridges are carried at all. Had to buy the combo pack which cost me more money!! Not happy at all!!

Since I have had my printer, I have replaced the black ink cartidge numerous times without a problem. I ordered this online and placed in my printer only for my printer to not recognize the new cartridge. After being online with the Lexmark helpdesk for over an hour and concluding that the cartridge was full of ink, they had to send me a replacement. The replacement worked perfectly fine. I had to ship the cartridge I bought from BestBuy back to Lexmark for them to figure out why it did work. I ordered online in the first place because my local best buy never carries this cartridge. So I had one shipped priority to receive it in a hurry. So not only was I inconvienced with the cartrige not working and having to ship it to Lexmark, I am also out the extra shipping that I paid to Best Buy.

You put it in the printer, it spits out ink. Nothing Fancy. The pre-determined number of sheets that it will print will annoy you when you run out in the middle of printing that big project for work/school, and you can still tell there's ink inside the cartridge. Have a spare around.

I have used the 36xl for replacements since I got my printer. However I ordered 2 cartridges for delivery through Best Buy and neither of them worked. They were delivered during cold weather and I did allow them to warm to room temp for a couple of days before installation. Returned them to the local Best Buy store for exchange but the store only carried the standard 36 in combo with the 37 color. They did refund my money without question though. Unfortunately, I did have to go elsewhere to purchase the 36xl.

You have more value in the higher yield than in the regular cartridge, and Best Buy is cheaper than most other places to purchase your ink cartridges. Also, it is very easy to order it, and have it delivered to your front door.

GOOD INK WITH NICE PRINT QUALITY...COULD BE A TAD CHEEPER BUT NOT TOTALLY UNREASONABLE...LAST LONGER THAN THE REGULAR 37...1ST TIME USER OF HIGH YEILD AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT...

too bad I can not find a generic cartridge for my printer. The price of Lexmark ink is killing me, I may have to buy another computer.

They seem to last forever compared to the standard cartridge.

This was listed on lexmark website as the replacement for my x5650. It was the same number as the one I pulled out. I did not work. I will NEVER buy another lexmark. They are terrible, terrible printers.

My printer keeps telling me to remove the plastic strip and I did, but it still won't print. I haven't figured out what is wrong.

best bang for your buck! prints well, and the printer itself was very inexpensive. have had no problems with the toner from Lexmark.
