This microwave replaced an LG that went out prior. This has served well thus far. Unsure how long it will hold up. Hoping we get our moneys worth out of this one.

The microwave works great and I love it. The box was damaged and it’s pretty good for its price. the only down side is that I didn’t like it when I have to pushed the side button to open microwave.

I had high hopes for this microwave after old reliable decided it wanted to give up by frying itself. The LG is a beautiful little machine. I ordered it online from Best Buy and picked it up on the same day. From day one there was something off. It smelled like cherry wood smoke. I wiped it out but the smell did not go away. For about 5 days the LG was fine. It didn't have much to do but warm up a little bit of water for 30 seconds twice a day. Day 6 I gave it a bigger task. Please cook my burrito for 2 minutes. Suddenly right after the two minutes the LG did not just turn off and play its little mario style music, it shut down. It was off for about 2 minutes when suddenly came back on and asked me if I wanted to switch my time from 12hr to 24hr military time. While I appreciate that the LG wanted to join the service this is not what I asked for. I just wanted my burrito to cook. I answered the LG request and changed the time to 24hrs. It was happy with that for about 2 days. I hoped it was a fluke but suddenly we were back to square one. LG shut down. Sorry LG I am not happy with your service you have been eliminated. LG was taken back to Best buy where I was told I was passed my 15 day grace period. I let them know that was not true and once it was confirmed that I was correct they took LG back. Good bye LG. BTW the smell never went away. LG is very light and the child proof lock was easy to disable.

Great Microwave. It's attractive and I love the childproof button. It heats/cooks food evenly, the best microwave I've had. Recommend!!!
