I am very satisfied with this product. It works perfectly, is easy to use, and has a modern design that looks great in the kitchen. It heats evenly and is fairly quiet. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price. I definitely recommend it and would purchase it again.

This is a decent overall microwave, but with a number of issues which made it undesirable for us:
SMALL OPENING - the specs say the interior is 12.6" wide, but this is misleading. The entrance is actually less than 12" wide, making it uncomfortably narrow to fit a big plate without worrying about dinging it. Unless you're cooking origami, 12.6" is only usable by Marketing. This made everyday use a bit painful for us.
DINGY INTERIOR - the inside is painted dark grey, and the only illumination is a tiny, dim LED, with a weird blueish tint to boot. Novel, yes; useful, no.
HARD TO CLEAN - besides being dark, the interior surfaces have zig-zags rather than being flat, so it's hard to see whether the interior is clean, and it's hard to wipe down quickly.
INCOMPATIBLE W/ SPLATTER GUARD - we have a plastic food cover (splatter guard) with magnets for sticking to the microwave ceiling. It's incredibly handy, but doesn't work with this unit due to the zig-zag ceiling shape.
RELATIVELY LOUD - while this unit is quieter than our 20 year old, lawnmower-like beast, it is much louder than comparable modern microwaves (73 vs 64 dB). Seriously. Here's why.
HIGH-PITCHED NOISE - this unit generates high-frequency noise which caused our cats to run out of the room the first time we turned it on. (probably the inverter) A noise app showed significantly higher sound levels from 2 through 20 kHz compared to the competition. Fortunately, the cats seemed to get used to it.
SERIOUS FAN - this unit blows a LOT of air, and on our upper kitchen shelf at eye level, it blows the air right in our face. The other microwave we tried had nearly none. We might have gotten used to this, except...
CHEMICAL SMELL - our factory new unit smelled slightly sweet and smoky. I assume this is "new car" smell and will wear off over time. But it's certainly some type of chemical and it's distracting to be blown right in our face every time.
BLUETOOTH INTERFERENCE - speaking of emissions, when running, this unit kills nearby Bluetooth communication, much more so than either our 20 y/o unit or the new unit we ended up with. My headset was unusable in the kitchen.
APPEARANCE - finally, I would personally recommend this unit o-n-l-y if you already have a kitchen full of LG appliances. It's attractive and modern, but the sleek shape has the opposite vibe compared to Viking for example. For us, it ended up making our kitchen look mismatched. We are much happier after choosing an American branded unit also with a two-letter name.
In summary, none of the issues above are deal breakers. The unit looks nice and does it's job. But we are now much happier after choosing a competitive model.

True rating is 4.5 for this awesome piece of culinary helpfulness . For years I’ve owned a Panasonic inverter microwave and vowed to never stray, but I DID. I deviated not because I think this LG inverter microwave is better it’s because it’s smaller, yes less is more. Who cooks a turkey in microwave, not me so the least amount of cubic space with inverter technology is what I’m after. Here’s some game an inverter microwave cooks a 30% if you program for 30% not like standard microwave that cycle on and of to replicate 30% but at 100% power. And last the 0.5 deduction is the open release button sucks you have to press to a certain corner to operate release latch, horrible design but I still love the space saving I got from this LG microwave would recommend to all!

Quick cooking, modern, sleek looking microwave. Matches perfectly with the insta-view fridge. Perfect for kitchens that don’t have much counter space. Easy to open with new double press button without the movement of the microwave as most smaller ones do.

LG has great products. The microwave is QUIET. No noise while in use. When the timer goes off when finished is a tinkling sound. Softly. The microwave has a glass turntable to rotate the food to cook it evenly. The price is good. Not costly. Although my previous 2 microwaves were larger, this one fits everything I need.

The touch icons are a little close together,if you have bigger fingers it might be hard to program at first. Once you get the hang of it, its fine.
Overall I love this oven. It heats up well with a lovely chime to signal when done.
The extra wheels help keep plates steady and turning well.
Quiet and efficient too.
Also love the smaller size which can fit in smaller spaces.

I like the clean lines and small space it needs in my small apartment. I replaced a large over-the-stove model with this countertop one and it serves me better because I am short.

Love my microwave, small and compact exactly how I wanted it. Although it’s small, its heats up my food like any other bigger microwaves. The finish on it looks amazing, and it just pairs up with all my other LG appliances.

Great mic and really modernized the kitchen. There is a child lock that was a little hard to figure out "out of the box" and I was forced to read the instructions! Easy to disable for an adult house, turn a screw 90 degreees on the side.
I use the air fryer and mic more than the actual range, easy to clean and simple for 2 ppl.
Open box buy was a bonus.
