The microwave looks great and heats food as expected. It is a little louder than my previous Kenmore microwave but it is not overpowering. It is a great addition to complete our stainless steel kitchen appliances.

We purchased this microwave on black friday at a reasonable price. it does everything we need it to do for a microwave. it small and fits perfectly in the space we wanted on the kitchen counter. The only downfall is its a little bit louder than we were expecting.

good value, looks nice, turntable stay in place as it is the old design most brands have abandoned, inside light turns off when door is left open, used mostly for warm up / melting and works well for those...buttons do not have a delineation space, so sometimes it is hard to hit the right one the first time.

The first weakness is the door opener takes quite a bit of effort which sometimes moves the unit backwards because instructions state it should be kept 4 inches from back wall to vent air. I'm hoping with time the latch with become easier. The second weakness is the door opener sometimes stays pressed in instead of regaining its position flush with the front. This causes a big popping sound when it finally goes back into position. At first, I couldn't figure out where the loud sound was coming from, thinking heat was causing some part to expand. Maybe this too will repair itself. It's the middle of a snowy winter, so I bought without trying different brands; instead I relied on product reviews from an established non-profit consumer advocate organization. But these problems were not mentioned.

This was used to replace a microwave that lasted 17 years. The button layout is not the best. When operating, the noise level is higher than I would have preferred. Seems to heat evenly.

I love all the features, the only issue is sometimes when you push the button to open the door, you also have to pull on the door, it doesn't pop open. That being said, it heats more evenly then any microwave I've ever had.

Compact and runs well. The button that opens the door tends to stick, but pops back out OK when you close the door. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the general operation of the unit.

Have had this microwave for a 1 1/2 months. It is a great microwave and is a little larger inside and more powerful than ones that I have had in the past. That meets the criteria I was looking for when I purchased this. However, it has taken me all this time and a phone call to the manufacturer to figure out how work it! The manual instructions are severely lacking in instruction. LG needs to work on their manuals. So it was user error as I suspected and I am now enjoying this microwave and all of the functions it provides. New users just need to be patient and figure it out on their own. While larger inside, the outside is not as large as others. It is nice looking and offers lots of features, many I'll probably never use. This is a nice microwave and so now, I would recommend this microwave to others.

This microwave was purchased to replace a much larger unit. It is the right size for the space available and gets the job done. Granted, I use it mostly to reheat leftovers and make popcorn, but it does a great job. Thanks to my salesperson for recommending this particular microwave.

I decided to spend a little more to replace my old plastic college microwave and can say that I got a better product than I thought I would. It has about twice the heating space of my old one and takes up the same kitchen area. Bonus that I can heat things up in one try.

Purchased this microwave as a replacement for an old unit. It is smaller than the old, but gets the job done. It is easy to clean, and the potato setting cooks the potatoes the first time. The only down side is the keypad, the numbers are difficult to read if not in a bright location.

Purchased as a replacement for a 15 year-old GE Profile Arctica. First impressions are good: more powerful despite the same wattage rating. The turntable is a welcome feature and the compact size on the outside does not mean a small capacity interior. What the appliance does lack is a well-considered touch panel. This lacks back lighting and is small dark keys on a dark background. This alone rules out for anyone with vision issues. The size and placement of the keys is awkward. Rather than aligning or grouping "speed" function keys, they are spread around. To compensate, you'll need consistent bright light on the touch panel. The bargain price (I found it on sale for $69) can make it irresistible despite the flawed design.

This LG microwave operates efficiently. It's smaller than the one I had before , but its powerful and saves space. It's a bit noisy at first, but it quiets after a week or so of continued use. The price was great too.

This is a very handsome unit, and it is easy to read the function buttons in low light. It does seem to be a bit loud. Maybe I am used to low power microwave ovens, but I've experienced larger units that were quieter.

This microwave is a great size for a countertop. We have narrow counters and cabinets and had to go with countertop instead of built in. The easy clean surface is a plus. Corners are always dirty in a rectangular box.

This nice looking, stylish microwave makes a great addition to any kitchen or office. It has an easy to use, user friendly keypad which is easy to clean. Overall a nice microwave for the price. Cooks evenly, and heats items quickly. LG quality at an affordable price.

The LG midsize Microwave is a perfect compliment to any kitchen. It's easy to use touch interface allows for a quick warm-up of meals or the Friday night popcorn snack. I really enjoy it's size as it fits nicely on the counter top. Easy to clean and easy to use.

Read a number of reviews of this product. I think that people who rate things look for something to complain about in their reviews. This is a microwave and yes it does make some noise, get over it. The unit is not back lighted on the keypad. Once you use it a couple of times do you really need to have an expensive backlight? Get over it. Small, compact, powerful. Got it on sale. Hope it last like my Magic Chef for 12 years, if it doesn't I will get over it.
