We are quickly becoming a LG household from OLED TVs, dryer, and now microwave. We replaced an aging microwave with this LG and it doesn’t disappoint. We are completely satisfied with the purchase.

Exact fit, only had to change blower motor to exhaust through the roof but easy enough I love it

No internal light and no backlighting of the control panel. If there is supposed to be, then they are not working. The online manual is a joke. NOTHING in the manual that addresses these issues.

One month after my purchase . The door wouldn't shut unless i stood there to keep it closed. Repair guy came and went still couldnt fix it . LG company refused to help me at all . I went up the ladder for three days only to get the samr answer from a big wig. I will never again by LG and neither should you.

Great microwave overall, features and looks are exceptional. bad : the tone of the machine is too subdued the finished and alarm tones are too musical for my taste and with any type of ambient noise it is also too low in volume. Nothing worse then an alarm/alert you can not hear. the keypad is a little hard to push buttons on. It sometime takes a couple of tries to find the sweet spot on the membrane. The description and user guides never state YOU MUST HAVE AN OVERHEAD CABINET TO MOUNT THIS TO. My oven was free-standing with no overhead cabinets so it was a huge surprise to me when I got it home and went to mount it that it only came with one mounting bracket and not two to wall mount it. In my case I was able to fab a Board between the stub wall and my cabinets to make this work. They need to specify that this is an under cabinet microwave and not a true wall mount.

I like the LG OTR microwave. Its sleek, operates relatively quiet and performs well for all the cook settings that I use regularly. Installation was standard. i got it in by myself but I do recommend two people so you dont damage a counter or cooktop this is normally over. The only cons is that the lettering on the buttons dont show well in dim to low light. So if these were bigger or a backlight was made part of the unit..this is easily 5 stars!

I absolutely love this microwave! It’s very easy to use, heats food quickly and evenly, and works perfectly every time. The design is beautiful, modern, and elegant, which makes it look great in the kitchen. It feels high quality and is very user-friendly. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

Not only is this unit attractive but it works amazingly and is very quiet.

This microwave oven is very powerful, but the control panel is very difficult to read because the color is not bright enough to see it clearly. The inside of the microwave is not white and the light bulb (probably LED) is not very bright and makes it harder to see the food when it is cooking. The door is so light weight that my husband feels it is too delicate. We are very undecided about recommending it, but it does cook quickly (too quickly in some cases)

Easy to install and operates quietly. Sensor cook works accurately for reheating and everyday use. Good interior space for its size, strong venting, and clean design. Solid value for a standard over-the-range microwave.

I bought this to replace my old LG microwave which died after 10 years. I was hoping that LG used the same mounting bracket as the old one, and yes, it was the same so installation was relatively easy. Unit works fine.

This is a nice sized microwave with many nice features. I like that the beeps are loud enough to be heard but don’t wake the whole house. The turntable is a great feature

This Microwave was a replacement for a very old one. I was thinking initially about a very sophisticated microwave, but realized I use most of the time the timer position, even to bake potatoes or unfreeze. The only issue I found was the overheating light that I replaced with a led for $4. So, for the price, it is an excellent deal. Easy to install and look much nicer than the old one.

I was looking for a way to maximize my limited kitchen space. Replacing my vent hood with an over-the-range microwave seemed like a logical solution, but I was a little skeptical about the exhaust performance. Installation was straightforward, especially if you don't need to vent the microwave. If you are venting, the exhaust motor needs to be reversed, and you'll need a proper adapter based on your ductwork. However, the results were impressive! The exhaust performance was surprisingly similar to my old vent hood. I suspect the larger size ductwork used and the powerful exhaust motor contributed to this success. The microwave itself has all the standard features, like a 30-second button, programmable cooking options, and a stop turntable button. However, I wish the interior was brighter and that it had brighter LED lighting underneath (multiple LEDs would be ideal). Overall, I would definitely recommend this over-the-range microwave to anyone facing similar space constraints. It's a functional and space-saving appliance that exceeded my expectations.
