My 3 complaints: no potato setting on the main screen; no speed cooking settings for 1-6 minute cooking; and the buttons don’t light up at night so if it’s darker in my kitchen I can’t even see where to press the light button. I have to turn on my kitchen light and it’s annoying. These are simple things that were on my previous oven. Otherwise, it works fine.

It’s a microwave! It heats things… but what sets this one apart is that when it reheats a meal, it “senses” the humidity of the food and stops cooking before the microwave becomes a dehydrator and ruins the food. There’s lots of features and the cook / reheat menu is on the easily accessible from the inside. I like the dual zones afforded by the metal rack that allows multiple dishes to be heated at the same time. There’s less waiting which makes cooking to eating more efficient. We went with an LG oven with convection but I wouldn’t mind having that as an option. The only negative comment is that the control panel surface requires a firm touch. I use my knuckle to avoid a big fat fingerprint on the panel. It’s easy enough to clean the surface with a paper towel but as hard as I need to mash the add 30 seconds and other buttons, my fingerprints get all over the place. Big hands issues…. This was a simple install as it was a replacement unit that operated for 20+ years. The vent aligned with the original and the support bracket was easy to install using the provided template.

Works extremely well, easily cleaned, and performs like all LG products do. Has enough feature for the average family. No need to spend $ 200 more for what we use the microwave for. Great purchase at a great price

Very nice looking unit. My only complaint is that the control panel is dark and somewhat hard to see the labeling. It also requires that you plug in the entire time (ie. 2.00 for 2 minutes, then press start. Our old unit was easier for input, just press 2 and close the door - then it started on it's own. Just will take getting used to it.

Excellent performance and options. Much better than the Maytag we replaced; however, the keypad does not have back lighting, and that is a real pain!! we need to turn on the overhead bright kitchen lights to read the keypad. The sales literature and images on the internet show the keypad is lit, and that is NOT the case.

We purchased LG for the great reviews on performance and durability. I love the fact that there are not a ton of buttons for every imaginable food possibility. Just a basic microwave is all that we need and the price was spectacular. The only thing that I miss is a quick start button. Pushing a 2 means 2 minutes. This microwave doesn't have this. If you want 2 minutes you need to push 2,0,0 and then start. There is a 30 second quick start which is for adding 30 more seconds. This doesn't add time to the timer, only for cooking time.

Its roomy and good looking, the vent is hella loud tho, I didn't know that until they installed it and I used t after my kitchen remodel. When cooking with the vent on, you cant hear anything it is like an airplane over head.

I can't comment on how well this unit works, because I didn't keep long enough to test it. However I can comment on the fact that LG really should consider using more accurate photos for thier appliances, in particular their microwaves. This particular model, based on the photos, gives the impression that the keypad features white numbers/names, etc. This couldn't be further from the truth. When I recevied mine and installed it, the keypad digits are actually grey in color, over a black background, made it extremely diffciult to see clearly unless standing up-close to it. In no way is the keypad in the stock photos an indication of what it looks like on an actual unit. I quickly returned it and got a different LG model that does in fact feature a white keypad. I am a big fan of LG, all of my new appliances are LG (first time customer) and my soon to be television will be LG as well, the only thing that bothers me is deceptive photos that don't truly represent the product.

So far so good! It does make a kind of clicking noise when you hit start. But this may be normal. It is beautiful, I love the anterior color and features

This is a very good microwave. It's looks really nice, and is well-made, powerful and cooks food quickly. However, I think the display is hard to read, as the numbers are dark on dark... and also the numbers and selections on the display are weirdly hard to push. Otherwise, pretty basic to install, and works very well.

Microwave works well but the hardware to install was cheap and broke so we had to get our own. There aren’t as many features as my older Amana such as showing me the cool options on the display (I had to go to the manual to see what button to press). It also is a bit louder than our old microwave and sometimes sounds like it’s straining. It heats evenly, so it does its job.

Overall a good purchase. I read the reviews before my purchase and I agree with the fact the buttons are harder to push, the light under the unit has only one setting, the fan has two, unlike my other LG which also has turbo. It functions fine for my use. It does streak when washed but I use a micro fiber cloth to remove that. Hope that helps.

Easy installation. Can be done by one person, if you are handy. Heats food evenly and cooks quickly. Lots of space inside. Looks good on the outside. More programs than I will ever use.

It's a pretty basic microwave compared to my last one. It's look really nice and heats things well. I just don't like that it doesn't have the option to just click on button for common heating times. They only have it for 30 seconds. My old one had it for 2 mins, 3, 4 and 5.

We replaced a 16 year old LG that worked well for a new 1.8 Cu Ft sensor cooking microwave when we upgraded our kitchen. We were surprised that the new LG 1.8 cu ft microwave was a little louder in operations and the light is rather dim. I will be looking into a brighter bulb for it. It doesn't add much light to the stove top. The exhaust fan is also a little weak at exhausting. I would recommend a 400 CFM exhaust fan over the 300 CFM. The operating key board wasn't what Best Buy had shown in their advertisement for it. Best Buy didn't have this model on display at that store. The functions and numbers are a gray color that are rather hard to read. The Best Buy ad showed bright white functions and keyboard numbers.
