Microwave was just a bit smaller than our old Samsung microwave. But it isn't an issue with the foods we put in there. The install was rather easier than I thought. Only issue was the top mounting holes are different from the old microwave so be prepared to make new holes if you're replacing an old Samsung. PROS: -The build is excellent and feels quite sturdy. -Door is not wobbly or weak when I have it open. -Food cooks well all around and i'm still trying out more features. -Internet connectivity. Using the LG app, I can connect my microwave to it and time a cook, set what to cook, set clock etc... It also reminds me for cleaning or any other issues. -If you're a microwave popcorn person, this is the 1st microwave I ever owned that practically popped about 100% of all the kernels without burning the popcorn (I use Orville Redenbacher). CONS: -Like I said, if you're replacing a Samsung, be prepared to make new holes. Also the power cord is on a different location. -Just a bit smaller internally than a Samsung of this series. But not by much and we didn't even notice when we started using it. -The lights underneath are a bit dim and I wish they used LED lighting. Although the interior is LED. Overall we're very happy with our purchase and the cooking and or warming up of foods is what matters and this LG does it very well!

Once I got it outta the box and installed I loving it. If you don't have a homie to help you out with the install you can creative using home supplies to support it as you get the support screws lined up up top. Fairly standardized size etc too, one screw and the back support plate and fan output port were all compatible with the previous microwave I uninstalled. Been working fine for a week so far

Excellent LG Microwave oven! Timer and finish signal will continue to beep until it is shut off. Just one of the great features this microwave offers. Cooks evenly and fast! Highly recommend!

I just installed this unit myself yesterday. It was replacing an existing over the range microwave and installation took less than 2 hours working by myself. We also did not have any exterior venting connections which also simplified the installation. Making sure I had the template lined up correctly made hanging the microwave much easier because everything fit perfectly on the first attempt to hang the unit up. This microwave is heavy but I was able to hang it by myself. We currently have Kenmore Elite stainless steel appliances with black trim. I was worried this unit wouldn't match but it looks great! Once installed you just plug it in and it's ready to use. We use the quick 30 second button the most, which this has. It also has express cook where number 1-6 will start the unit with 1-6 minutes depending on which you press. The Wi-Fi installation took a few tries for me. I would recommend you first create an LG account in the LG app on your smartphone since this is required for setup. We have Eero routers and the next step is to temporarily disable 5Ghz if you have a similar mesh setup. Once that is done follow the instructions in the app to setup the microwave and it should work smoothly. I initially forgot to turn off 5Ghz and the microwave was having trouble communicating. Overall we are very happy with how this unit looks and works. I had read complaints in other reviews about the chime but I don't find it more or less pleasant than our previous unit that just beeped. If you don't open the door after cooking is finished it will continue to play the chime every 30-60 seconds until you do. Our old microwave did the same thing but with beeps only and can get "annoying" if you walked off to do something else during cooking but it's also a nice reminder you have something in there. I certainly wouldn't avoid this microwave due to the chime.

Great microwave. Efficient cooking. Easy to use and clean

I needed a new OTR microwave after my LG died after only 6 years. I found this unit at a Best Buy close by. It was an open box and they said it was in excellent condition. NOT! There was a serious dent that I had to straighten before I could mount it. One of the mounting nuts was not in the chassis, but I found it in the box. So, I had to remove the entire cover to replace the nut. And, the mounting bracket was missing entirely. Fortunately, the bracket that I had fit the new unit. I shouldn't have had to go through all this for a unit in an "excellent" condition. I finally got it installed and it's working so far. I regret getting an open box, but I needed it in a hurry, and buying a new unit was going to take some time to get it delivered. Lesson learned: Inspect all open-box items before taking them out of the store. I hope this LG microwave lasts longer than 6 years.

This is a very nice microwave. It is very easy to use. Has a lot of features and a decent capacity. The black stainless steel looks vey nice also. Very happy with the purchase. The price through Best Buy was exceptional and being we combined it with an Lg Range, we saved a significant amount of money. Very happy over all.

The LG black steel microwave matches my other LG kitchen appliances. It is large, high quality and it is beautiful. It is easy to use and I highly recommend this product.

So far it's great, but to early to tell reliability. Not less noisy than our GE microwave. Has neat chimes for finish and timer. Was able to use the existing bracket from the last two micro's. ( GE and Sears.) The sensor doesn't seem to work very well. The water got too hot and the popcorn only popped a few kernels and stopped. The stove light gets really warm, surprised it's not led and cool. Was supposed to get install and haul away. But they just dropped it off and didn't haul away the old microwave. Very disappointed in that. Tried to do a chat to set up haul away but they couldn't help me there. Paying a lot to be a total member and not seeing the benefits!!

I purchased microwave to replace my old microwave because I trust the LG brand. I was not disappointed. It was easy to install, and it works perfectly. It's quiet and heats food quickly.

Works excellent. Old microwave quit & needed one before Christmas. If this unit lasts as long as the old Maytag microwave which was 25 years old and used a lot then that would be a great testimony for this LG product.

I was really excited to find this and it was the right color for my kitchen. I was very impressed with the service staff as well.

We purchased this to replace an older LG model. This new microwave was easy to install using the same drill holes as our prior microwave and it looks sleek. We are happy with the even heating and ease of use. It also has a pleasant sound when cooking ends that isn't jarring like other models. It's solid and has lots of preset options for cooking. Would recommend!
