I love this fridge! So perfect for a small kitchen. I love the drop shelf too - makes for so much more room. I kind of wish the freezer was a drawer because you have to open the door all the way to reach anything in your freezer since it's three internal drawers. But besides that, it's very quiet, efficient, and looks great! I took a pic of the top - the motor is up there and that would have been useful for me to see when planning my cabinets. It's height is flush with the front of the fridge.

Doors are reversible if you hire an LG repairman

I have this fridge. LG claims the doors are reversible but what they don't say is you'll void your warranty if you do it yourself. A registered LG repairman is $200 + -- and that's assuming you can find one nearby. The repairman will charge a "diagnosis" fee even thought you're hiring them to do one specific thing. I'm never buying an LG product again. I haven't paid to have the door reversed. It just irritates me that LG wasn't honest about the door reversal. Right now I have to wedge myself against the wall to open it. -- One thing to add: skip this model if you like cheese. It gets moldy very quickly in this model. I don't know why.

I freaking LOVE this fridge. I've had it for nearly 5 months and every day I just squeal when I open it. The way it's designed in the interior-- someone really knew what they were doing. Flexible shelving really makes this pack a punch in terms of making all food visible, and how much storage I get out of this. I swear I can put more away in this than the 36 inch wide fridge this replaced. The shelves are tempered glass and unlike other fridges it never fogs up. The fridge runs virtually silent which was alarming at first and I kept checking to make sure it was plugged in. It does make a sort of ticking noise every once in a while which is more noticeable just because there isn't the usual fridge hum. One thing I did not realize when so excited to get an ice maker in a fridge this sixze- it has no water line hookup. It's completely manual. However somehow it doesn't bother me even though that wasn't clear when I bought it. It's so convenient and clever how it works-- there's a designated ice tray and shelf with drawer-- they recommend filling the tray with a pitcher of. water but I've just been taking the tray completely out and filling it at the sink. when the ice is frozen you flip the lever and it inverts the ice tray so it all falls into the ice drawer below, and when you release the lever it flips upright again. Clever! it's fun and that's a hard thing to say about any adult chore.

We have now had for a little over a year. I waited to post my review due to prior reviews some positive some negative however, we love the refrigerator, sleek yet roomy. Not noisy at all and fits well in the space of our kitchen.

Overall it seems to be a pretty solid fridge. I love the ice cube tray and generally seems to keep things at a good temperature. Unfortunately there seems to be less space in both the fridge and freezer than I was expecting, but the space in my kitchen won't allow for any bigger fridge.

The shelf placement in the refrigerator is not the most efficient. The “manual icemaker” in the freezer is good for one person
