This mw has lots of features, heats very well. Looks good over my BSS range. Light could be brighter in hood vent.

I was a little nervous about this microwave after reading reviews. My last microwave was a GE about 5 years old and it was loud. My new microwave is so quiet. Love it!! Heats food much faster. Suppose to be fingerprint resistant. .easy to wipe off. The inside light not to bright its on when i open and when food is cooking. I can see it..I'm good..doesnt bother me. Happy with my purchase!

I have only had this unit for a few weeks, and so far I'm satisfied with my purchase. It was easy to install, and gives me an updated look to my kitchen. My only complaint is the placement of the rack inside the micro. It is too low and requires me to remove it when putting anything over a few inches tall on the lower rotating plate. This wasn't a major issue for me because I just took the rack out permanently after a week given I've never used one in the past.

Everything I wanted in a microwave! Perfect size, easy to clean, sleek look and cooks great! Very happy with purchase!

Did a lot of research before buying this microwave. Chose the LG for the looks, the price, the size and the features. Plus I like that it comes with a wire rack which allows you to warm up multiple plates at once, saving time and energy. Favorite features are the quietness, how quickly it warms up food, and the looks.

This LG microwave is very nice looking and has all of the standard features you'd expect in today's microwave ovens. It cooks very nicely and the custom features are great. Much better at cooking food than my old GE microwave. That is why I give this LG OTR Microwave three stars. However, there are two problems with this unit that I don't like and that cost LG a five star rating from me. One problem is the lighting over the range AND inside the microwave oven are not bright enough. Needs much better lighting, especially inside the microwave. The second, even more important, problem is this OTR microwave is lacking good ventilation suction. The suction is pathetic, even on the turbo fan setting. What a joke! My 14 year old GE OTR microwave did twice as good a job ventilating over my gas range as this new LG model does. I have tried many different things to improve the suction, but to no avail. I have looked at several different web sites ( including LG website), consumer blogs and you tube videos for help with this issue. Apparently most of these modern OTR microwaves are weak in this way. Weak ventilation capabilities. I guess it's just something you have to live with in most of these newer OTR Microwave ovens. Disappointing. Less fancy and more straight forward ventilation might be a better way to go. I would recommend this unit for the looks and cooking but not recommend it for it's weak lighting and ventilation.

Good space inside, looks great, heats up quick, and has an easy to use system.

Easy install. Lots of preset cooking settings. Large enough to accommodate large casserole dishes. Is quiet.

I did a lot of comparison shopping before I purchased a new microwave. This one is hands-down the best and I am very pleased. It has everything I need and more. Easy to use, reasonably priced, efficient, perfect cooking results for everything I have needed it to do. I recommend this one!

This is a very nice large item. my husband installed in it just a few minutes even after having to change the fan vent direction. he said it was very easy to do with clear instructions. works and looks great, I also like to different fan speeds, the energy saving mode and the choice to spin the cooking surface or not and the multiple light setting for underneath, the lowest setting is a perfect house "night light" just enough light to see at night but not to much.

Pretty easy install, mount lower bracket, attach through the upper cabinet. This microwave completed our LG kitchen, I love the black stainless, and the hidden vent. The microwave is very quiet compared to our old one. Just being picky but one "con" is the very small window to see what is cooking. Easy to operate, easy menu options.

We built a new house and installed this microwave in the kitchen. Love the features and it's looks. Highly recommend! Easy to install....only took a few minutes to layout the holes to drill with the supplied template and installed without any issues. Pros: Easy to Clean, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, High Quality, Looks Great, Lots of Features, Nice Design, Stylish

The microwave works great and looks good also. I am very pleased with this purchase overall. The installation was a two person job that required patience and a few minor adjustments along the way. The other con is the fingerprints that are always left behind. Aside from those few things, the microwave functions as expected. Everything works great.

Since I needed an over-the-range microwave to replace the one we had that died, features other than just cooking were important. In particular the quality of the fan was something I looked for, and this microwave definitely has a nice strong fan. The microwaving itself seems fine; I am not a super-heavy microwave user. There are a number of annoying features, though, that make me not recommend this particular microwave: - The fan is very loud - The window in the door is very small, so that I can't see food in the microwave unless I'm standing on a stepstool -- and I am average height for a woman - The interior light is dim, so unless I get up close and peer in, I can't see if the microwave is on - The display is situated in such a way that if I am cooking at the stove the bottom part of the microwave display is blocked by the panel itself; if I were several inches taller this would not be the case - The manual says not to use "stoneware" in the microwave. Is this standard? A huge fraction of dinnerware sold is stoneware, I would guess. - The clock does not stay visible. Why? If you use the microwave in any way, the display comes on, but will turn off 5 minutes after you're done using it. There is nothing you can do about this (there's a special insert in the manual saying this, so I must not be the only who wondered). If this is an energy-saving feature it's ridiculous, as it would only save a miniscule amount of energy.

Unit matches other LG appliances, works well, quiet , cleans easily, installation fairly simple — biggest problem was aligning mounting holes on top of unit with holes drilled in base of overhead cabinet, minor confusion with installation instructions regarding repositioning of exhaust fan unit. Over-all, we are quite satisfied with unit.
