Is bass boost active or inactive? Is the unit in cinema mode or not? Get my point. There is no way to determine how the unit is set up or what is happening. You just have to play with all the controls until it sounds right which can take a while. Not my best decision to buy or keep this unit. An app to control the unit would be nice.

Sound really was quite disappointing, though, didn't sound much better than the tin can fragments in my tv. Barring that, the BT audio did not sync well at all. Not a bad unit, but I spent a little more for a different one and am quite happy with what I got. (Returned, sorry)
