No real beef to sound- just louder- doesn’t seem to bring forward surround sound quality. This came as part of a bundle w new tv - just the bar and woofer comes w “system” so probably why no surround sound affect. Not worth the “savings”- lesson learned. I have always been leery of bundles” because they always include a lesser quality item than if you just buy them separately- following my intuition next time.

Volume does not stay steady. Too loud some times and using the same setting becomes too low when the action taking place changes. Find I am often changing the volume to match the content and think the content should do that automatically. TV's are bad for poor quality and direction of sound so I purchased the bar to cure this ailment. Not been successful so far. Can't recommend this in good concious.. If you buy this make sure it is set up to it's best and if that does not work you can return it for full credit.

Posted .This unit supports Auto volume function that automatically adjusts the volume level. When the output sound is too loud or too low, press AUTO VOL on the remote control. So you can enjoy the sound with appropriate levels. To cancel this function, press the button again while “ON-AUTO VOLUME” is displayed. ^CP
