For the price, we have been very satisfied with the LG 2.1 soundbar with wireless woofer. The package came with an optical cable which was a nice surprise. The sound quality isn't as deep and rich as your more expensive units, but it adds a fullness that is far superior to built-in TV speakers. It can turn out enough volume to fill any household room and easily pairs with other bluetooth devices like a phone or tablet to make streaming music a breeze. Overall it is a very good, economical entry-level soundbar.

I bought this to go with my new 55" LG UHDTV. Perfect height so it doesn't block the sensor on the tv. The selling point was the ease of setup and the included optical audio cord. You just plug in the optical cord and the power cord. You can set up the wireless sub anywhere in the room. I placed it behind the couch like one reviewer said and it's awesome. No setup required for the wireless sub. It just automatically connects!

We bought this for our 65" Samsung S7000 UHD Lounge T.V. (also have a 5.1 Channel Surround Sound in Cinema room with S8000 Suamsung). This version L.G. 2.1 Ch Bar and Sub were very easy to hook up and sound quality is great (for <$150 Cyber Sales Week), way better than expected! If you are looking for great quality sound, easy to use but without any bells and whistles then this is an ideal choice.

I tried a couple different sound systems before I got this one, mainly the klipsch promedia 2.1. I know it's not a "sound bar" but in the past I've lucked out with computer speakers working great with TV, not this time. After my last return with the klipsch I purchased this soundbar. The set up couldn't be easier, just plug it in. I can easily tell a difference between all the modes it offers and the 300W helps make the bass kick when it needs to. I've enjoyed this set up a bunch! A+

If you’re looking for some reasonably priced speakers with good sound, these are the ones for you. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have an older HD tv that doesn’t have an optical audio cable plug in. We were able to connect it through the cable box but the ps4 would not be able to be connected. We just had to get an old school audio cord. I just wish the sound bar would have come with both options since it does have two different cord connecting options.

Directly compared the Sony HT-CT390 (BestBuy open box for $129.99) and this LG SH3K (BestBuy $125 after Visa Checkout) and with two TV's in two separate bedrooms did independent tests to compare the two and found the Sony to have several key advantages. The advantage of the LG was slightly louder and larger oomph from the bass. Advantages for the Sony were:
1. More clear audio, sharper details, tested with 300, The office, music
2. HDMI (ARC) so higher quality connection and ability to control with existing TV remote
3. Longer Bluetooth Range, and remote can actually control the Bluetooth device (phone) unlike LG
4. Slimmer so can sit down in front of TV, without blocking screen or wall mountable
5. LED display so you can see volume level
6. LG has just Standard, Movie; Music. Sony has those plus additional modes of clear voice, sports, and Game, plus night mode
7. Better wall mounting brackets
8. NFC
9. USB input, plus the ability to see the data on the LED display
I returned the LG and kept the Sony and couldn't be happier. Nothing too bad about the LG but especially for a similar price i'd choose the Sony hands down.

Black Friday price of $130 it's a steal for this soundbar. Staying at a small town home a home theater system was out of the question. Needed something minimal that can provide some oomph to movies or sports. Only con I have is the lack of information on the display pertaining to volume level and sub woofer level. The other is the speakers are not cover so if you have toddlers you know what to expect.

Hooking up the soundbar and woofer was very straightforward. Getting everything (TV + soundbar) to work with the one (Xfinity) remote took a little more doing - but we got there eventually.
No complaints on the sound quality. The woofer does seem to drop out for a couple seconds from time to time. It acts like it's losing the Bluetooth connection to the sound bar - but then comes right back on its own.
Bottom line: we are happy with the system. Hard to beat it for the price.

I purchased a 4K Ultra HD tv for a great sale price but it had that all familiar sound like the speakers were in a box and some movies would require turning the tv sound up on the 50 to 60 setting. This sound bar was just what I was looking for, great sound overall, terrific bass and it came with everything that I needed for installation. I don't think you will be disappointed with it, I sure wasn't!

I bought this sound system to replace another one. The wireless sub and sound bar are extremely easy to hook up. Pairing your Bluetooth device is also very easy. We live in a townhouse and this allows for good clean sound and does not bother the neighbors. When the neighbors are not home you can crank this thing up and it still has crisp highs and lows. For the money I do not know of a better system.

Bought this for a living room TV not used for movie viewing. It has great sound for TV shows, Sports, and regular TV viewing. I can tell that this would be great for movies as well. Has great sound and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could connect my phone via blue tooth for music. Great sound bar and the subwoofer gives great bass sound.

Sound is decent. Would like a little more bass from the wireless subwoofer but overall happy with the purchase. It comes with a wall mount in the box. That was a selling point for me. I had planned on buying the bose solo 5 but then I would have had to purchase the wall mount separately for that. It's slim design was also a plus for me. All in all it is a good product for the price. Not the greatest but by no means not even close to being the worst.

Ok I don't leave reviews but this one was worth it. I have never owned a sound bar before but have tested them out in stores. Previously had a older bose cinemagic and this soundbar blows the bose away. I've got a pretty big living room and this one is more than enough... movies sound great and sports feels like your at the game... definitely worth the money...very happy with my purchase!!!

Sound bar is almost necessary when buying a new TV. I don't know too much about sound systems but, for the price and the quality, you can't go wrong with this one. The sound is great and the sub woofer can get loud. Can't really have the sub too high if you have roommates or in my case, live in an apartment. Definitely enhances the movie experience with the bass, even on low.

Purchased it on sale for under $150 and we are impressed. Had a 10-year old Sony surround sound and didn't quite put out the volume and clarity of this LG system. Setup is easy and all cables are included. Certainly far superior sound quality to the new Samsung 65" (which by the way has great picture quality).
