We bought this because it was a Black Friday deal, but we compared it to other more expensive brands and it was better sound than comparable styles. We were blown away by the sound quality and the bass is outstanding for the price!

I've been through several soundbars trying to find the right sound. After about the 4th one I gave up hope on finding a decent soundbar, but then the last moment I bought this one (open-box mind you) and I was blown away when I got home! It sounds really good and is super clear. The sound modes are distinct enough, but I usually just use standard or cinema mode. There are a few gripes I have with it though. First of all it doesn't have a volume icon on it, so adjusting the volume just means the little red dot flashes until it either hits zero or a hundred, which then makes the dot stay red. Also there's not an EQ on it either. You only have three modes. Really the modes sound fine, but I do wish there was more to adjust than just the subwoofer. Also speaking of subwoofer it actually hits fairly hard for a wireless one. I had to actually cut it down because it rattled the entire house during a movie. Overall I'm pretty happy with the product. I've had it for awhile now and I can't complain.

This is my second LG sound bar and did not get disappointed, for the money is a really great value anything better that this you will have to fork a couple of $100 more for it, sound is great the subwoofer make my basement feel like a theater, also the Blue Tooth is great to just play music from my phone playlists.

The LG sound bar system is fantastic. Easy to set up and sounds really good. I would recommend this sound bar to anyone who enjoys watching a good action packed movie or sports. Great product for a great price! Go to Best Buy and pick yours up TODAY!

Bought this a few years ago for my dad for Father’s Day. It’s been in his man cave ever since and does the job. Quality is decent, you get what you get when there’s only one subwoofer and the main bar. It’s not surround sound but it’ll definitely enhance your viewing experience.

Bought my first LG sound bar over 1 year ago. Liked it so much I got another one just like for $120 (Black Friday) for my motor home. I don't think you can get a better sound bar for that price and you could pay a lot more for something inferior.

From this little box I was not thinking the sound would take me to a theater setting. Very impressed and now that I gave this one away for an early Christmas present I will have to go buy one. BEST SOUND OUT THERE and setting up was easy, just plug and play.

Excellent quality sound, easy setup, works great for tv and the Bluetooth feature is really nice when we connect our ipods to it for using as a home stereo. We love it so much we bought a second one so we had them hooked up on both of our tv's

We have never owned a soundbar before, but are very happy with this one! Fairly easy to set up for semi technology challenged. The sound is great! The only problem is when the subwoofer does its thing, it sometimes makes the dogs bark! LOL!

Wanted something that had great sound for a not so expensive price. Definitely got the item. Its like sitting in a movie theater while watching movies at home. The only thing i dont like is it doesn't have a visual for where the volume is.

After not ever having any sound other than my TV speakers i figured i would give a sound bar a try as I didnt make sense to have a complete surround sound system in my living room. This was easy to set up and works great and sounds great!

I bought this system for my mom who is hard of hearing, the sound quality is outstanding! The remote is much easier to use than past items ive tried which is great for older users! HOWEVER - the reason for a 4 star and not 5 is the mounting bracket! It requires you to slip the speaker into the bracket and then lift and slide about 1 1/2" to lock it into place. The wall area I had to mount the speaker on had no wiggle room right or left, the speaker fit perfectly with less than a 1'2" on either side. So I was NOT able to use the mounting bracket provided in the way they intend, which is hooking and sliding the unit to the left over 1 and 1/2" to secure it to the wall. It needed a drop in mounting design, not a slide left and right design. I had to install a shelf for it to sit on instead, which meant a trip to home depot for brackets and shelving, thus slowing down the install process. Once said and done, the sound system is great - MUCH louder than the original tv and previous sound bar. Mom can hear her favorite tv shows again and shes happy!

Easy to setup and easy to use especially if you actually have LG TV. It was breeze to hook everything up. Sound quality is what you expect. I am not audiophile so I don't really know if they sound better but sounds better than TV speakers

I did a lot of research and sound testing at best buy before ultimately buying this system. Overall, I thought it had better sound quality than the Samsung or sony soundbars that were on display. Set up was a breeze, had it mounted on the wall and ready to go in 10 minutes. The wireless sub is a great feature as well, good bass and volume for the size. Not ground shaking by any means, but still fills the room well. Main thing I don't like is how it doesn't have a protective grill over the speakers. Also, I noticed when listening at night that there's a pretty big jump on volume levels. It's either just too quiet to hear so I turn it up a notch, but then gets too loud when there's an action scene. Again, only an issue when it's at night and it's quiet in the house. Still a great system and am happy with my purchase!

This sound bar puts out a sound quality which exceeded my expectations. It’s like having surround sound without having the hassle of messing with extra wires and hook ups. It’s also very simple to get set up with easy to follow instructions.

This LG Soundbar has excellent sound quality. I like the fact that there are preset features and that you can still adjust the sub levels. It was very easy to hook up and cane with its own optical cable. The price was decent and the quality very good.

This sound bar sounds just as good if not better than my 5.1 surround setup. Installation was simple plug and play. Came with everything necessary for install. Subwoofer paired wirelessly so I wasn't limited on placement by wires. Would recommend!

The sound of this soundbar is great. Very easy to set up. The wireless sub is a plus. Easily controlled by the TV remote. It could look a little cleaner with a faceplate on it to cover the speakers, but it doesn’t look bad by any means.

This is an excellent, fairly priced soundbar. There are countless others with more flexibility and better sound quality, but for normal use (general TV watching, sports, movies) it is more than adequate and connected easily to the LG TV.

My TV speakers left a lot to be desired so I purchased this on a Black Friday deal. The sound from the soundbar really impressed me and the bass from the sub-woofer is perfect for my living room environment. Very happy with this purchase!
