I like the sound quality and different settings (cinema,voice, and normal). Really can get thumping with bass and the Bluetooth works great. 'I need to turn on the speaker for the tv or Bluetooth (iPhone music)- it will automatically detect and play. Would definitely get for someone else as well.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He wanted a cheap one (meaning $49.99) as it's for his man cave. However I wanted him to have a bit nicer of one. I did some research on Soundbars and came up w this one! BB had them on sale for $129.99 w value @ $299.99 with primarily great reviews. (I also researched through Google and Amazon.) We are so very impressed by the output of sound the LG 2.1 sound bar gives. The size and functionality of it is spot on. We are waiting for them to go on sale again so we can buy 2 more for our other tvs. This is a fabulous product for the money! Only draw back, BB did not ship it in another box. Sadly my husband saw it when it was delivered as he works from home. So I couldn't surprise him w a nicer gift. * I feel w the level of porch theft and especially the busy area we live in, I would have appreciated it and also would have paid additional for it to be shipped in anew unmarked box. Other than the shipping, it's a 5 star rating for us!

This product delivers on its value when it comes to the sound quality but there are a couple of downsides... It has 3 preset modes. Standard, Cinema and Voice. Voice is great for those movies where you can never quite hear what they are saying clearly.- (our main reason for buying a sound bar). The Cinema setting is loaded with bass and makes for a great experience with action movies. Standard is a mix of the two. We mostly use either voice or cinema depending on the movie. There is also a DRC mode which equalizes all of the sound to neutralize those that are low volume in some scenes and deafening in others. A huge disappointment is no visual gauge for volume or subwoofer levels. You basically have to guess and adjust accordingly. There are no visual cues to tell you how high or low you are. Additionally there is no case to the sound bar speakers. If you have kids they could poke the speaker bubbles. (not ideal) The subwoofer does have a case. Overall 8/10 for value and sound quality. If you want something high end you should look elsewhere but for an average person looking to upgrade your movie experience this product will not disappoint.

I bought this because of so many good reviews, plus a killer sale was going on. I kept the box in our living room for two weeks because I expected it to sound like garbage compared to the receiver & home theater setup I was using before hand and I was expecting to return the item. After having it and testing it with a few movies and shows, I can honestly say I regret my purchase.....because I should've ordered two!! The sound is very very good. There isn't a delay between the mouth movement and words you hear. It's seamless. And the sound quality is surprisingly good! The Bluetooth feature is pretty neat too. I am extremely happy with my purchase and wish I had orders another one for the other room. Kudos to Best Buy customer service also for taking care of my issue with my order (was my fault). I will be removing the receiver, and all the speakers because this does all we need it to!

A HUGE improvement over my previous sound bar and has lots of bass and great sound. Good features like bluetooth links for music, etc. The 300w will fill your rooms with plenty of sound and I got it from BestBuy for an awesome price right after Xmas and you can't beat that.

my first sound bar. thought about getting one for a long time then got a 65" TV for Christmas and knew i couldnt wait any longer. after some research and review reading settled on this unit. heard it live in the store in comparison to at least 5 other models , ( sony, samsung, polk and a couple others ) and for the money i thought the sound was quite credible and comparable to some of the high end ( and high dollar ) models and even noticeably better than some. also it was deep discounted on sale and i had a rewards cert. to use so only cost me about $115 ($279 usually) no problem with set up at home, quick and easy. good crisp clear sound, multple settings available and quite a good wireless sub woofer, works well and really helps bring out the sound and give that movie theater effect and has separate volume control also for tailored sound mix. only draw back for me was that I was expecting / hoping it would really wail out loud like a stereo but it doesnt really kick out huge volume. it is still respectable but not earth shaking which would be awesome. Still it gives a crisp clear sound and I am not disappointed in this unit.

Paid $129, and am very satisfied with the performance. Fills our living room with more sound then we actually require. Wireless sub works very well, and is easy to hide behind furniture. Why pay more when you can get this level of performance at a very reasonable price.

First of all, this IS a good sounding sound bar. There are many better ones, but the price of this one is usually pretty low compared to others in the same tier. It has great lows, good mids and decent highs for dialogue, but it lacks in a few "quality of life" areas. For one, there is no way to adjustment bass, mid or treble at all. Not even with the remote. So I hope you like where the levels are, because they're permanent. Two, the bar features no useful display. Just a few simplified icons. How high is the volume or the sub woofer level? Who knows without just turning it up and down at random. What sound mode is currently active? Can't tell without switching between them. Another thing I was disappointed with was the lack of sound mode presets. There are only three. Voice, Cinema and Standard. They are OKAY at best, but would be better if we could fine tune them with a custom EQ, but it's not possible. More presets would have been nice. There is also no grill option with this bar. If you don't like the look of the exposed speakers, you should find another sound bar. It would be nice to at least have a removable grill as a side option. I also ran into a strange issue where the sub woofer would cut in and out, but it turned out to be some kind of interference from my wireless router. I had to move the sub woofer very far away from it and the problem stopped. Troubleshooting that was.... fun, to say the lest. Again, it's a good sound bar and it gets loud for the price, but don't set your expectations too high or you'll be disappointed. Hope this helps!

I can't say enough good things about this sound bar. I love that I was able to just plug it in and it immediately worked with my LG plasma television over the optical audio connection. I especially enjoy that after setting up the bass level and EQ preset I can store the tiny remote safely away and never need it again because the television remote can still control the sound bar level. When I turn the TV on the sound bar comes on and switches to the correct input automatically every single time. When I turn the TV off the sound bar will soon follow. I can easily connect my phone to the sound bar via Bluetooth and every type of audio I throw at it from blu-rays to Spotify to YouTube videos all sound amazing and the wireless bass unit is extremely powerful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants something better than their TV speakers and is more powerful than a standard sound bar.

This sound bar is awesome. Syncing to my phone was simple. Smooth music thru my home. And the sound quality - EXCELLENT! Bass hits HARD! And my gaming sounds like I'm in the midst of the action. An must buy for anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.

Got it while on sale and also open box. Def worth it at discount. Bluetooth works great, bass is deep, and it is super easy to setup. If using with a Samsung tv, make sure to set the optical out to Dolby Neo, otherwise the wireless subwoofer turns off.

This soundbar has exceptional sound quality for the price. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality soundbar at an affordable price. The setup was easy an it definitely enhances the movie experience when paired with my 55" TV.

I have purchased several sound bars for loved ones. I have a Samsung, gifted a more expensive Samsung, a Polk and now the LG. Out of the them all, in my opinion, this is by far the best sound and at the best price! I like that there is no felt/mesh cover because dust and pet hair seem to gravitate and fill the fabric. It's nothing that a vacuum can't handle yet, it's still an issue for me. The bass and volume KICKS! It is perfect for my 21 year old, likes is loud, need to feels it, daughter! Let's just pray she can't blow the speakers like she has done with 2 different sets of Klipsh speakers. Set up was very easy although the pairing instructions seemed a little unclear. Overall.......I think she loves them and is very excited to have them. Time will tell if they can with stand her levels of bass and volume.

The sound bar has great sound and the Bass is very adjustable. Turn it lower for regular tv or crank it for movies. The set up is easy and is far simpler to use that my old full surround sound system. I dont have to keep explaining how to use it.The blue tooth for the music is a great feature.

I got this sound bar w/wireless subwoofer on sale. I use it for my bedroom. Has more than enough sound and bass. I do enjoy it, not only for my PS3 and movies but also for the Bluetooth connection so I can play music off of my phone while I clean or entertain. The main down sides to this is that this model did not come with a hdmi port :( not a huge problem for me since my PS3 has a digital cable jack but my tv only has hdmi ports so I can only use the bar if I run it through my PS3. The other downside is that there is no display to show what level your volume is at. Turn it on and pray you didn't leave it blasting lol. One more down side is that the volume is good loud but when you get towards the bottom quieter side it's either medium loud of off. Not much of a slightly quiet option that I have noticed. All that being said, I am still very happy with the bar and it more than fits my needs. It's clear, it's loud and I can use my phone with it! That's pretty much all I need. Build well!

This product fully met my expectations. Our son set it up for us. Set up time was simple and quick. The sound is great. The deep bass is exactly what I was wanting. My husband said he can understand dialogue a little better.

This was my first sound bar that I got to go along with my Samsung tv it’s awesome great sound and I love that is blue tooth so I can hook up my phone set up was easy. Got a great deal on it wish I had one for all my TVs.

Easy hooked up, sound ids great. In fact better than a more expensive Samsung I have in the living room. I didn't think it would be as good but its better and well worth the price. The bass is impressive and the sound crystal clear.

Great sound quality from the bar and the woofer. Also, it was inexpensive compared to other sound bars. The only issue is that the face of the sound bar is exposed, which is part of the design. This exposure allows dust to accumulate and it's difficult to dust and clean.

We've never purchased a Sound Bar before this purchase. My husband and I thought our TV sounded "muffled" so we were looking for something to clarify the voices. This Sound Bar really does a good job! It appears as tho it is well-made and really delivers on our sound. It has 3 options: Voice, Cinema, Standard. The remote is easy to use for choosing those options. Our DirecTV remote seems to control the Sound Bar, also. Our package came with a wireless speaker that automatically connects to the Sound Bar and can be placed anywhere in the room. We bought this for $139 and think we spent our money wisely. TV sound = Clear as a Bell !! We are happy. In fact, our son--in-law offered to buy it from us, if we didn't want it for some reason.
