I think this soundbar gives a good quality sound for the price. I wanted a soundbar that wasn't the bottom of the line but wasn't top of the line either...it needed to be somewhat affordable. I got this LG soundbar for $170 and I really like it. My Samsung Smart HDTV has poor speakers and vibrates like crazy whenever there is hardly any bass so by adding this soundbar to use instead of the speakers in the TV it solved my problem and gave me good sound and it was affordable. I have 2 of these soundbars...one for each TV.

Bought this to install at my mountain cabin, to replace a refurbished sound bar purchased from eBay. Went with this sound bar (1) because it was on sale and (2) because it's an LG. Never had any issue with any LG product I have bought and my feelings are intact. Extremely easy set up and installation. Everyone on the mountain can now hear what we're watching. So pleased I have recommended this sound bar to several friends and family members. As I said before, NEVER disappointed with my LG products!

Of the three entry-level soundbars I've tried in my apartment home, this seems to have the best mix of bass, power (300w Total), and compatibility. It could use an HDMI pass-through, but the Optical, 3.5mm audio, and Bluetooth work just fine for what I needed it for. Another downside is the lack of cover for the front speakers on the soundbar itself. Aesthetically it looks okay, but I worry about damage to the speakers. However, for about 130 it's still a great deal. A useful feature is that It does automatically turn on when it senses an input and goes to standby after about 10 minutes of no input.

This is my second LG soundbar. I'm used to having a 7.1 setup but since I'm using this for a bedroom so 7.1 will be overkill. I find the setup of the soundbar easy enough. Once mounted on the wall and the optical cable and plugged in, you're good to go. The wireless sub is easy to setup too. I placed mine using law of thirds to reduce standing waves in the bedroom. It can be set to auto on if a signal is received. And it can play at high levels without distortion. The sub unit will start distorting before the main unit though. The bedroom I'm using it in is 20 ft by 20 ft by 10 ft and this soundbar can fill the room easily.

I've been using this soundbar for about a month and I'm happy with the results. Sound quality is good enough for movies and TV shows. IMO not as good for regular music, but definitively an improvement over the regular TV sound that nowadays come in flat TVs where there is no room for bigger/better speakers. It'll nice if it had a way to show volume level, either number or graph bar since sometimes the volume tends to get loud depending on what's showing on the TV. It worked right off the bat with the TV and cable box remote so the volume of the sound bar can be controlled by these other remotes without doing anything.

Good lows. Awesome mids and highs. Great for a mid-sized room. Easy setup and connectivity. Very good features and even better prize!

I had bought a new 65" LG tv and was disappointed with the sound quality of the built in speakers. Best Buy was having a half price sale of a simple 2:1 LG sound bar and I chose it because it was such a good deal. What a difference it makes to the sound quality when watching the tv. It is like night and day. For "normal" tv watching in a typical family room this is completely sufficient. If you desire to listen to professional classical music in an acoustic room then of course many of the (much) more expensive systems will give a better result, but for Joe Public this works just fine and for about $125 its a steal.

These speakers sound great. The price can't be beat when you shop at Best Buy. The Bluetooth function works fantastic also.

Got this on a whim for my family room. There was an open box sale so I thought why not try it for the price - very glad I did. The hookup was simple and seamless, sound is way better than the TV's speaker, and I LOVE the wireless sub. I have a massive sound system and powered sub for a media room and though this would never compete on the high-end, it's' excellent for a living / family room application, So, if your not looking to knock the drywall off, this would be a great investment.

Purchased this on sale. Easy to connect. Easy to set up. Bluetooth easy setup without issues. Great sound and bass.

Great sound just enough bass from the subwoofer to bring movies to life in my living room. Simple setup with LG TV

The quality of the sound bar is excellent. I got this in a deal 129.99. It was very easy to install and paired with the bass. The bass is very good too. The controller has 3 types of equalizer the standard, cinema and voice. In the same controller you can adjust the bass volume. The only thing that I didn't like was that the sound bar didn't have something that indicates how much volume has left or what setting you are, but that is not a deal breaker. Overall I am very satisfied with this sound bar.

So far so good! Read all the positive reviews and decided to try this product. Got a good deal for $199. For this price and the 300 watts that this product delivers with a wireless sub-woofer and sound options along with easy pairing to my TV I really couldn't ask for more. SOund is loud and clear and bass is good enough to mildly vibrate walls. Very satisfied with this LG product thus far and thanks to Best Buy for making purchasing easy and being able to read reviews and compare products.

Not a whole lot to say here other than the system sounds really good. The wireless sub stayed connected and has yet to disconnect 25 feet away. I have had zero issues from this great-looking soundbar. The remote control is a little confusing with its on and off and auto modes but suffice to say there is a huge difference between cinematic and regular mode and not much difference with bass blast vs. Cinema mode. Other than the chintzy remote I've had no problem with it whatsoever after a about a year's worth of use.

Rich sound with very deep bass. Great value for the price. Only knock is that the speakers on the sound bar are exposed.

Glad I picked this up for my living room. Has plenty of sounds and was a great buy to replace my TV speakers which were fairly poor. I've played some PS4 games with it and it can get quite loud, but you do get what you pay for when it comes to the quality of the sound at higher volumes. That being said I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it as a good beginning to a home theatre. The only other downfall is there is no way to see what volume level you are at or what you have the sub set at so that you can match it up later. You just have to kind of hear what volume level you are at.

This seemed like the best buy for the price. Once I hooked it up, which was easy to do, it was simple to get it going. The sound is great. I was able took it up so it took over the sound for the television. Movies and video games are great with this. I highly recommend it. It turns on and off with the television, so you don't need to work the power separately. The one downside is that you can't really tell what it is on feature wise, but other than that it is great.

Since the newest flat screen TV's lack good speakers, a sound bar is a must-have. I matched my LG TV to the recommended sound bar, thanks to BestBuy, and took a gamble....and won. This sound bar is not a best of the best per many sites, but it more than what I imagined and came through brilliantly. The sub-woofer really puts the bass out, perfectly, for our enjoyment. Erase any doubts as to size and a lesser price, this sound bar is a good investment in your listening pleasure.

Purchased this in conjunction with an LG TV. Was very easy to set up and bluetooth works great. Sound is very good and have not noticed any lags in sound.

An excellent ennahcement to the the standard speakers on our set. Set up was a snap, instructions are clear and the sound quality is really good. Bass is controllable and can be deep if so wanted. Treble is crisp. Makes anything viewed on the set come alive. The Theater setting enlarges and enhances the sound filed to fill the area. Well worth the modest investment
