    I hooked up this LG sound bar to my new LG Oled TV. While the sound quality is better than the internal speakers, the volume you can achieve is only slightly louder than the TV speakers. I am using the optical out for my connection. When hooking up an LG product to another LG product, I expected the output sensitivity of the TV to match the input sensitivity on the sound bar. This is not the case. After 3 phone calls to LG, they could not rectify the problem. While I love my new Oled, I would not recommend this soundbar for that TV. LG needs to pay more attention to compatibility within their own line of products.

    So i got this to have ARC but good luck getting that to work. SO i am now basically having to hook up with optical cable which is fine but certainly not impressed.

    hookup as simple as it should be sound quality =good really only problem is lg remote don't control it-- so one more to the collection --- my system is up to 12

    I love this sound bar. I purchased along with a 55" 4K TV. It really enhances the sound. I listened to the TV w/o it and then turned the sound bar on. It makes a significant difference in the viewing experience.

    All I used to hear from my husband was, turn the tv up, I can't hear it. A friend recommended a sound bar. I am so glad we did. Not only can my husband hear the tv, but it sounds like we are in the movie theater.

    We didn't want to spend a lot of $$ for a sound bar and this is a good choice. I would give it 5 stars but hubby says he wishes it had more base. I like it the way it is
