The wires are also a very small gauge wire. Because of the way they are attached to the speaker, it is not possible to replace them with the longer and thicker gauge wires I have from my previous unit.

Nice style, realiably good sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These days 'old school' options are limited when it comes to playing CDs, and I have several hundred, so the ability to record to a USB makes it flexible. Now I can take my music with me without fumbling with CDs and jewel cases. The only thing I miss is the old fashioned tuner. The tuner pre-sets sometimes sound weird to me. Overall it's a good buy.

does a great job for a smaller unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.does the job for what i was wanting. the sound is impressive for this size unit, i am used to big sound as i have old school componet sytems. a 300watt sharp and pioneer 400wattsystem. i was looking for a ghetto blaster for outdoors but the systems available were not what i wanted, this is a better choice. only kicker to it is this is not designed to be portable, but i do it and rock the neighborhood!
