Wish their was more space horizontally but the downfall of a side by side. Other than that, the window is really cool, not a necessity, but a nice add on. The door in door is great! We put everything we grab often in that part to save from opening the whole fridge. Overall a great buy, no issues and it’s super quiet.

When my refrigerator died when my extended family arrived -- I needed one SOONER. Did my research quickly, visited around to see what was available. I had decided I wanted to convenience of the freezer at my eye height, so I was only looking at side-by-side. My choices were therefore kinda of limited. However, I have to tell you -- I REALLY like this frig. 1) Love the side by side. No lost stuff in the freezer. You "tap tap" with your knuckles on the frig door, and the mini door lights up. After years of tugging on frig doors, I can't believe how lovely it is to push a button and easily open the front. My disabled in-laws can even access it themselves. We all love it. It is QUIET which is a joy in our busy kitchen. The slight reason for the 4 not 5 stars -- we are big users of our ice maker and water machine. The water is in a slightly different location than I am used to, and I have spurted water out on more than one occasion. I expect I will get used to the new location. I have no idea what the "wi fi" is for. Haven't used it.

I bought this refrigerator from the Best Buy Outlet in Ocoee, FL. and it works very well. It was within out price range of $1000 and it normally sells for $2000. It has plenty of space and we love the separate door which lets us see inside without having to open the main door. It doesn't have a typical deli pullout tray, like most refrigerators, but you can either use the separate door for your deli meat or just place them in either of the two bottom pull out drawers.

Looks Fantastic. Nice focal point for the kitchen. Love the idea that I can easily locate food in the freezer. Door in door feature is great for foods that are being used on a daily basis. I was surprised that it actually handled an entire gallon of milk.

Its much roomier than it appeared in the store; with lots of space and flexibility for all of my needs. I especially like the InstaView feature; its not only convenient but will save on energy costs. It is a counter-depth unit and makes a significant difference in terms of access from the dining room area into the kitchen. The tall area for the ice and water dispenser is very much appreciated. And the unit is quiet too! I've only actually used it for a few days even though the purchase date is listed as 9/1/19.

Thought that I would use the InstaView door knock feature more. it is a neat feature but not necessary. the door in door feature is a must and chose it over the flex drawer in a similarly priced french door from samsung. I didn't like the flimsy design of the freezer on the bottom of a french door that always seemed to come off track or having to dig to get to stuff on the bottom this has everything in view and easy access. The water and ice took a long time to get rid of rubber taste and smell. still don't drink the water from the fridge on the reg after 2 months instead purchased Brita water pitcher and use that the most due to the bad taste. ice is fine at this point. if you have kids they will let you know how bad it is....every time. i would buy this fridge again if i had to choose and do not regret purchase. paid about 1800 before tax, parts, and fees.

I had my heart set on the 4-door Samsung, but negative reviews torpedoed that selection. We remodeled our kitchen; this was the compromise pick. I am so happy I picked this one! And would you believe, we completed our remodel one week before the great shutdown - talk about lucky. Whew! The excellent: Shelves are easily removable for cleaning! The door-in-door is a huge winner. The knock on the window to see what you have is 'take it or leave it' The good: Cooling is very consistent throughout. The 'Meh': We don't use the smart features The bad: If you need to move the refrigerator, it gets pretty weighty (even without food), and there are feet (not wheels) in the front. So you need to carefully wriggle and then tilt to move it. The filtered ice maker and water are excellent, and on a hot summer day, a real winner. We got incredible customer service from Best Buy. There were some distribution problems, but our sales rep kept us informed at every step with regular updates. The upshot: when the remodel was finishing, the refrigerator arrived a few days early (which was Ok). I recommend this without reservation.

Works well. Thanks to Ray in delivery, Jayden in Pacific Sales, for quick response. I normally don't like side by side, have always used french door, freezer on bottom. This one seems to wk for 2 ppl. I wouldn't recommend it for a family. The display on door is convenient for drinks, wine, condiments etc. Otherwise. Eh. The shelves don't store larger items( most costco items aren't going to fit). Check counter depth. This sticks out 4.5" fm countertop. Not a huge deal for us, but may be for some. We like LG products, providing the price is right, I would recommend this frig/freezer

So far this fridge has survived our family of 8 by keeping up in ice production (love the ice plus feature) and maintaining a frigid interior. The door in a door has helped so much with this by having the most used items right there and the littlest ones can tap to see inside and make their choice with the door closed rather than letting the penguins out. The light from tapping can sometimes not turn on upon first request but it works most of the time with no issue. The only other issue is I can't configure the shelving to fit taller items like gallons of juice/ milk or 2L so they fit on the door. Overall pleased with this purchase.

This is a nice looking refrigerator. We love the small cold saver door. It makes it easy to get to a lot of different items without opening the big door. It’s easy to organize everything. And it holds a lot for a medium sized refrigerator. The one flaw is the water dispenser. It dispenses to the front, instead of back by the ice dispenser. It’s kind of awkward to get a cup in the right place without spilling the water. And the dispenser extends past the drip tray, which means it doesn’t catch the water if it drips. If it wasn’t for this small problem with the water, I would have rated this excellent.

I love this refrigerator. It's counter-depth - so fits perfectly in the space. But it is incredibly large inside. The access door is so convenient - and I don't have to open the entire door every time I just want some milk.

Kitchen remodel and oh what to choose. . . so many choices, but my research lead me to this model (and other LG components), though I originally choose the 26 cf model, due to side and configuration of my kitchen remodel, had to go to a smaller profile one, so if you need a lot of space, this one it not for you, but for me (two person household, with a back up refrigerator in the basement), works well. I like the door in the door feature, easy access to those things I need without letting the cold air out, I love the bins for fresh fruits and vegetables, spacious design. I also like the draws in the bottom of the freezer and while not big, adequate for my needs. Also a plus, you can set the temps separately for refrigerator and freezer. Well lit. What's important to know for those who don't, is you cannot jam the shelves or it messes with the air flow and causes the problems others have spoken about. I've only had it a month, so no complaints thus far!

Our previous refrigerator was a whirlpool and this is the second one we’ve ever owned. I cannot say anything bad about it. It works well and we haven’t had any issues so far. We purchased it in February but did not have it installed until May. We have been using it for almost 4 months. The only awkward thing is that when you try to use the water dispenser, if you don’t know where the water is going to squirt out of it will shoot out all over you and the floor. It’s a different design then ones that I am used to so it is a learning curve. Also, if your refrigerator is counter height like ours. Make sure you give yourself a really good amount of room between the edge of your counter and when you open the door meaning, open the door slowly and if it looks like your door will hit your counter pull the fridge slightly away from the wall. . I already dented our door, first day of installation because I let it hit our granite counter corner.

Nice. Great design. Limited height storage. Should have a designated drawer for cold storage ( lunch meat , cheese...) Noisy ice maker.

This is a nice looking refrigerator, and performs pretty much as a refrigerator should, although not outstandingly so, in my opinion. I very much appreciate the door-in-door energy saving feature. However, my primary complaint is that one is limited in shelf placement. There are grooves (like in an oven) to change the height of the shelves, but only a certain number. Unless I remove one shelf, I have a 25oz water bottle that will not fit between the interior shelves - cannot create required height. The shelves in the “outer” door are fixed in place; my water bottle will fit there, but I would still like to be able to adjust the shelves to my liking without removing a shelf. Secondly, the ice cubes are fairly small, as is the ice cube bin. For day to day use, it is fine, but if I want a load of ice for a cooler, for example, it’s not much ice, & the smaller cubes melt faster.

Wow what a fridge. We had an old GE one for years and it was at the end of its life so we shopped around for a new one for a while, testing out as many as we could. We needed a counter depth one (the first one we ordered was huge, we learned the hard way). This fridge is well laid out, storage really works both in the freezer and fridge portions, the see through door is just awesome and an energy saver. Knock on the door and it lights up, so cool. The water filtration system is also wonderful and the settings are easy to adjust. This is one of the best fridges out there.

I love the door in door feature. So easy to grab the items that you use the most. The inside of the fridge and freezer is roomy. We have always had counter-depth refrigerator and l find I have good amount of space.

Love the counter depth style and the door in door with window and knock twice for inside light. Wanted side by side fridge so ice maker is in freezer, not in fridge like French door style. Enjoy the water and ice dispenser in door.

I am really enjoying this refrigerator! The set-up by the delivery team was fast. It looks good in my remodeled kitchen and it compliments my LG oven that I purchased a week prior. I can't wait to update to a LG dishwasher soon.

Love the door in door. It is actually a very nice looking refrigerator. Counter depth is perfect. Its supposed to have wifi, but I have not tried to set that up.
