I messed with the settings and did not get much brighter. Also it did not have the best angle. It points downward so if its up on a stand it maybe ok. But if your looking at it in a desk you have to prop it up.

One caveat: If you have a thick unused book or dictionary, cover it with tinfoil and set this monitor atop it. This way, your laptop, which must remain open, does not interfere with the monitor siteline. It is perfect for me. Joan Goodman

It has a HDMI connection, and I was able to regulate the screen's inclination. Highly recommended for regular home office workers. If you are looking for a monitor to play games, I would recommend a more robust one.

Great Price for a 22" monitor

This is not a IPS display so the off axis viewing may be less than desirable but it works great. The menu button also is very intuitive and easy.

I was told today's monitors did not have built in speakers and that is not true. I bought one from Amazon that us perfect.

The sound not as good as my other Samsung but still good can always add a sound bar so it’s not a big deal for us . Overall happy with the purchase
