Good Except For the Craft Ice Maker

The craft ice maker started malfunctioning about 1-2 months ago (almost 2 years old). It makes a loud clunking noise and doesn't harvest the ice almost ever without pressing the test button. Even pressing that button doesn't result in the ice dropping into the bin very often. LG really dropped the ball (and not the ice) on this feature.

Disappointing Purchase

The craft ice option is cool. Cons: I have to pretty much pull everything out of my freezer to see what I have. I lost freezer space and now have to buy a chest freezer. I run out of regular ice daily. The ice maker seems like it has to wake up from a deep sleep to dispense ice. The water is not cold at all. I have to add ice in order to drink the water. The ice cubes are small and tend to melt really fast. The ice storage bucket is pretty small. I am disappointed with this purchase. The issues I listed above I did not have to deal with on my old discontinued fridge. I sacrificed a lot of what I needed for something that 'looks nice.' Tho, I thought I would be getting more of what I needed with this purchase. Instead, I have to buy another freezer. I do not recommend this product.
