    Worst Buy

    We purchased this same product from a retailer other than Best Buy, but we are so mad we are posting wherever it is sold. The ice makers, especially the craft ice maker will start giving you problems after approximately 1 year and the support people will tell you to unplug it and defrost it for 48 hours and "see if that helps". This is a one-year-old fridge and shouldn't be giving problems at all. Other reviews agree with ours and say if you repair the craft ice maker, you will have the same problems in the same short amount of time.

    Be aware!

    I was looking for a counter depth refrigerator and since this one had plenty of good reviews, I decided to purchase it. Not sure if we just got a dud or what but I purchased this fridge on February 23rd, 2023 and we've already had SO many issues. Number 1, the craft ice maker broke after 6 months. Number 2, the main ice dispenser barely keeps up with a family of 4. Number 3, the eval fan broke. Number 4, it scratches VERY easily, so if you have kids that will touch the fridge, I'd steer clear. SUPER bummed because its a $3000 fridge and it's looking like we may have to already purchase a new one.

    Horrible Death Rattles & Fraudulent Warranty

    Due to the loud death rattles that this refrigerator began making a couple months after purchase, an entire floor of my house has become intolerable. A repair technician has attempted to calm its maddening noise on three repeat visits but could do nothing. This product is clearly defective and apparently just needs to be replaced. I’ve asked LG to address the issue somehow but they did nothing. I’d advise you to not believe in any sort of warranty because it appears it won’t be honored. As a result of this horrible experience and LG/Best Buy’s failure to address the issue, I can’t imagine I’d ever again buy an LG product or anything else through Best Buy. I highly suggest you avoid exploring the torment a nuisance piece of junk fridge can bring to your life.

    $900 repair for a known panel issue to be replaced. Happened 3 months out of warranty. Stay away!
