We bought this fridge last year in winter for our new house. There is only two of us but we like a lot of fridge space and I loved the French doors on it. Bottom freezer it's okay size for just the two of us but fridge part soon became not enough and I'm already looking for extra refrigerator for our basement for extra stuff that just doesn't fit. What made me really disappointed though was when we just recently finally took the protection film off of the door and the black stainless paint or coat came off with it around the handle so now it just looks so ugly and it doesn't just stop there, it keeps peeling off. I would've assumed that refrigerator for that kind of money will stay looking and functioning nice for awhile so I am really unhappy and waiting to see what can be done, if anything. I would not purchase it again. Waste of money.

Great stainless Steel fridge! Love the double ice makers! The ice maker in the door is a wonderful space saver. Very quiet and super chill.

Resubmitting review. Previous review doesn't reflect verified purchase. Purchased 5/27/18, delivered 6/23/18. Ice maker went out around 8/15/18 (still dispenses water, tray does not freeze). Freezer went out a week later (a lot of wasted food, obvious problem when stuff that should be frozen is dripping out from the bottom). Realized a week later fridge isn't holding temperature (less obvious problem, because 60 degree food still feels cool, more wasted food). Display doesn't give any indication of a problem. It is unaware it isn't working. Unsure if these used to be made in Korea or not. Mine says made in China. I would not recommend any LG fridge to anyone.

I am disabled and I need a refrigerator on top and a freezer on bottom. Love the ice/water that's filtered on the door it makes me want to drink more water. The delivery team were great, professional and on time!

Like other users that have posted regarding this fridge the black chrome started peeling. Reported this issue to geek squad which I had a warranty plan on. Took over a month of calling over and over again to get an answer. When I finally got through the insurance company the person I spoke with was very rude. She had the nerve to say the peeling is not covered because it's cosmetics and to call LG to complain. Wow... just wow is all I can say.

I originally purchased this fridge in September. It was delivered within a week, right before a hurricane, and after waiting 24 hours, I had a call Best Buy. The fridge and freezer did not cool at all. I think I got a lemon. However because I purchase the warranty, and because of hurricane was supposed to hit the very next day, Best Buy was able to loan me a different LG fridge until they could get me a new fridge. If you weeks later Best Buy came out and delivered this awesome bridge. It worked from the get go and cooled quickly this time. I've had no problems. It's produced ice quickly and it has a function for cubed or crushed. I'm coming from a regular fridge with no ice maker, so this is a treat. I love the capacity of the fridge and the freezer. I'm able to fit a pizza box in the freezer, only having to tip it a little which is a plus. My favorite feature is the third door. I'm able to put all of my sons snacks and drinks in the door along with all the condiments so that the main fridge stays closed for the most part. I bought this fridge for the capacity and it has not disappointed! I love the brightness of the light inside. I had to remove one of the shelves because I have a lot of taller items, but I still have plenty of shelving in the fridge. I do miss that it does not have a cheese/meat drawer but I am able to use one of the veggie/fruit doors for that purpose. I would highly recommend this fridge to anyone with the family Who needs a lot of space! :-) The only reason I did not give this fridge of five star is because I did get a lemon the first time, but Best Buy was amazing and corrected the problem quickly!

Recently bought a house that came with a tiny fridge. First home purchase, first fridge purchase. I couldn't believe how expensive refrigerators were... a lot of them nearing $3k. I did a lot of shopping and comparing and decided to try LG as I have heard mixed reviews on Samsung. I happened to find this on sale for $1699.00 and decided it was too good of a deal to pass up. Love the black stainless steel, it looks fantastic and very modern in my white kitchen. I love the double ice makers in the fridge, super convenient. It's very quiet while operating, I can only sometimes hear the ice drop from the ice maker, but that's it. I wish the front was magnetic, that's my only real complaint about it.

We've only had the LG French Door fridge about 6 weeks, but I do love my new fridge. So far, I like the ice in the door ice maker, but feel like I have to use it every day to follow the recommendations to empty it regularly, to keep it from freezing up. We turned off the one in the freezer because we aren't using a lot of ice right now, but am very glad we bought this dual-ice maker fridge - this feature is the reason we chose this particular refrigerator. The in the door ice maker really is very small! One thing I wish was different is the "deli" drawer in the fridge section -- it would be nice if it was two drawers instead of the full width of the fridge, because you must open both of the doors to open it. I do love the black stainless steel!

I have only had this fridge for two weeks and I think its great. the two ice makers are a plus and the fridge is plenty big . I do wish that the door storage was a little bigger. My old fridge I was able to put two gallons of milk side by side in the door storage. I don't think its a huge deal because there is plenty of room for all of are bottles and jars and still plenty of room for food. I love the color of the black stainless and finger prints don't show.

We've had this refrigerator for a few weeks now and so far so good. Previously had a side-by-side and switched to the french doors. It takes a little getting used to, and trying to remember which side to open! But I do like all the space inside for wider items. Strong, sturdy adjustable shelves, so you can store heavy items and make things fit. In-door ice and water dispenser works very nice. Any time the door is open the inside temp is displayed. Also, if the door is left open for too long, an alarm sounds letting you know. I had that problem with our old unit where I didn't quite close the door all the way, so that feature is nice. There is also a second ice dispenser, found in the pull-out tray in the freezer. Nice for those times when you need a little more ice! The in-door ice maker stops when that compartment is full. The black stainless is very nice and looks really sharp. We have light-oak cabinets in the kitchen and it looks great with them! It doesn't have the same in-door storage space that we're used to, but it makes up for it with inside space. Note: This review is for the black stainless, which is fairly new. I noticed that a number of the reviews on this page are for the stainless model, which has been out a bit longer. Make sure to read the right reviews! May or may not make a difference.........

Picked this one because it had the features we wanted and those included two ice makers. We use a lot. The upper door configuration works pretty well with easy access to most items. It is very quiet. Not sure if it is more efficient as we have not had it long enough to assess.

We purchased this LG black stainless to replace an 18 year old side by side. We love it!! More space, looks beautiful, and the dual ice maker is great! I am currently looking to order another door shelf for more storage there, can't find where to do that at.

So far so good. Love the dual ice makers, bright lights. Love that the ice maker is in the door. Wish more space between shelves fot taller items, but overall nice. The pabel on the front if the fridge could definiteoy use a backlight. Very hard to see the button options to the water and ice dispenser.

Product was delivered as promised, installers were professional acting and friendly. Product looks great and works fine, is also quiet. Black stainless looks good and so far has not shown to streak or show smears overly bad. Quite roomy.

Black stainless Steele looks great and cleans easily. The dual ice maker has to be the most useful feature for our family...so glad i chose this model

I love this refrigerator! It is so spacious and the LED lighting makes it that much better! The black stainless shines in our kitchen! The convenience of the bottom freezer is so efficient! Great purchase!

Love everything about this refrigerator. The black stainless is beautiful, and doesn't show fingerprints. The Ice maker and water dispenser work great. There is plenty of room for everything we need.
