Installed easy and runs quiet while cleaning the dishes without leaving spots.

We've had this dishwasher for a little over a month and still love it. We have an open floor plan (kitchen with island overlooking living room). Our former dishwasher (a 10 year old Viking) would interrupt us while watching a tv show. You can literally stand right next to the LG and not know it's running (I would think it wasn't working if the indicator lights weren't on).

I guess you have to pay for quality. I would like to have spent less, but this LG is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. Quiet. If I'm making a sandwich in the kitchen, I don't even notice that it is running. I have noticed that the light is on and walked over to stand near it so I could listen to the sound of it running. I could barely hear it. Someone also put some thought into designing the rack. Easy to load in a way that will obviously improve the efficiency of cleaning the dishes. I had it installed and the installation crew was really good at switching out the old machine with a new one. I saved so much on the price compared to others of similar quality at different stores that I more or less got the installation for free. I have always done it myself in the past. I was nice to let someone else take care of it.

Does a good job on most dishes but have an occasional item that is still soiled.

This dishwasher is so quiet I had to keep checking it the first time I used it because I couldn't hear if it was running. It is very roomy inside. I can fit a lot more dishes in here than my last dishwasher. I wish I hadn't waited to long to buy this.

The dishwasher has a great design, which we love. It is, as advertised, very, very quiet. And it has a ton of features - including the ability to raise/lower the top rack. The only real negative feature is that we've had spotting on some of our glasses. We've reviewed the user's manual and have been playing with the amount of detergent that we use as well as the dry rinse settings, which have seemed to help. These things seem to be helping and we have been happier with our more recent dishwasher loads. If we can get that all figured out, our review would move to five stars. One other note, however - the average wash cycle is over two hours.

Great dishwasher, quiet, efficient and looks elegant in my kitchen.

Decent dishwasher. Does the job but leaves plastic items way too wet, but all dishwashers seem the same in that department. Quiet machine. Hard to clean the stainless steel finish, as the cleaners all seem to leave streaks

This unit is so quiet it is hard to tell it is running. It does have lights on the front so you can tell and plays a little tune when the cycle is complete. It has lots of features. It clean up glasses that were so bad because of my last machine and made them look almost new.

I actually got rid of my Bosch dishwasher in favor of this LG. The LG is quieter, has more room, more features and actually dries the dishes! With my Bosch, I would put away dishes that were soaking wet, or have to crack the door to let them air dry (increasing the Jet Dry rinse did not help.) I love the LG's ability raise/lower racks, along with the third "large utensils" rack. So great to have a safe place for knives and large serving spoons. I've been very pleased with the LG brand and enjoy the little song when the cycle is over. (Other reviewers mentioned it before I purchased the dishwasher...it plays on the washer/dryer as well.) The normal wash cycle is about 10 minutes faster (including dry time) than my old dishwasher and cleans twice as well. We are really pleased with this purchase and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

It met our expectations, delivery was quick and painless. Dishwasher is really quiet and does a good job with all dishes, some came out looking new again.

This dishwasher was one of the best decisions my wife and I made. We needed a new one desperately and we got a great deal for a great product. It's so quiet, we forget its on!

I would recommend this dishwasher to friends and family. Very quiet. We don't have to rinse the dishes clean before loading.

like many Americans my living room is near my kitchen and my old dishwasher was so loud I couldn't hear my TV. This new washer is so quiet I don't even know if it is running most out of time. everything comes out amazingly clean. It has room for massive amounts of dishes the third rack up top for silverware is nice. I took the silverware tray out on the bottom rack and I only use the one on the top rack for my silverware. I would recommend this dishwasher to anybody who's looking for a quiet dishwasher with steam. It is not the fastest dishwasher out there but your dishes do come out sparkling clean.

It is quiet and effective at cleaning dishes. It has good capacity and adpts to fit what ever dishes we want to wash.

Otherwise good product. Machine is quiet but the drawers are hard to roll and the soap dish is hard to close.

I chose an LG dishwasher because I have had a stellar experience with the LG front-loading washing machine that I have. I have not been disappointed in the style, the function, the price, or the size of this dishwasher. The only drawback is the fact that it does not have a drying cycle, it depends on the heat from the wash/rinse to dry the dishes, and that is not sufficient.

This is an awesom diswasher. Love the steam clean. It also has the small third row so you can put small items. Great for baby items.
