A great quiet dishwasher that replaced my old very loud dishwasher. Sometimes I am not even sure if the dishwasher is on.

Priced high, and ok performance, but we paid the price for the reduced noise level.

I would recommend this to a friend. It was either LG or Samsung. We decided on LG and have no regrets.

Long washes do a great job. But the dry function is hit or miss.

Really cool features, I love the adjustable height on the top rack, what a cool feature.

Originally ordered another brand that had a third rack to hold silverware. Took three times to get installed. First other brand did not fit. Second there was a manufacturers defect. Third time finally worked. Delivery people were great.

I am saying that this so far is a great dishwasher for us.

Very quiet, sleek and stylish. Works great, looks great.

My crock pot had some stuck on beans, but I didn't feel It was that bad, However, the Power Steam feature didn't even get it half way clean. Very disappointing.

this dishwasher is gonna be a worst purchase i ever made

After looking at a lot of other cheaper alternatives, we chose this LG dishwasher because of the steam clean feature and its quiet operation. It is very quiet for sure. You can barely hear it at all. The steam clean works ok (though we had to run one dirty porcelain bowl through several times and it still didn't come out clean, despite being placed in the location/orientation specified in the manual). And it is quite spacious with many adjustable rack configurations allowing almost anything to fit. The controls are on top of the door, including the time remaining to wash, so that's a bit of an inconvenience (you have to open the door to reach them) but we knew that up front. The clean look from the front makes up for it. Where this dishwasher has fallen way short for us is that it failed within 2 months. No power, no display, not even a blip. Naturally, just after the Best Buy 45-day exchange period I had so Best Buy wouldn't do anything for us. We called LG direct and 5 days later a tech came out, replaced a burnt out circuit board (there were no power surges so no one knows why it happened) which restored the display and power, then claimed it was fixed and walked out the door. Fortunately, I ran the dishwasher before he drove off, and it immediately threw an LE error (seized motor). I called the tech back in, and he said "Yeah, we need to order a new motor." How it failed in less than 2 months I don't know. It has now been 10 days since the unit failed and I still don't have a working dishwasher, nor have received any calls from anyone. So I have been on the phone with several LG reps including supervisors, to find out what's going on, Supposedly a tech will be out 2 days from now (a total of 12 days out of service), but I'll wait and see. If they don't show up and fix the problem, I'll be finding another way to take care of this. For the price I paid, this is just unacceptable. Since most people here seem to be having better luck with theirs, hopefully this is a fluke. But I've recently had to have two new over the range microwaves replaced due to cosmetic damage out of the box so there may be an LG quality control issue. Just be aware if yours breaks, you may have a lot of headaches getting it repaired (at least here in San Antonio) in a reasonable amount of time. But, if yours works, you'll probably be quite happy with it.

This dishwasher is very versatile, sleek, and so quiet we cannot not hear it run. Our old dishwasher was so loud that we could only run it when we went to bed. The baskets are great and easy to adjust to fit almost any size object. The steam feature helps sanitize the dishes and can be used to wash crystal and china. The power wash with full steam does take nearly three hours to run, but there are quicker options if you don't need the full wash. The third rack is great for large spoons, knives and spatulas the are too big for the silver-ware caddy. We are very happy with this purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised how quite this dishwasher is, i am standing next to it and it is hardly noticeable. no more pre washing of dishes thanks to steam power, we were concerned that it will not dry dishes since it does no have heated dry, it dries dished very well (it need jet dry though), we have tried all wash cycles and for most of the time normal cycle works just fine, the capacity is very good, 3rd tray is very helpful for large spoons and knives, great dishwasher, i would recommend to if you need steam power.

Bought this about 6 months ago and we use it daily. The last couple of days there has been a high pitched squeal and after some research found it is the sump motor. Called LG and they are sending out a technician no problem so am hoping they can solve the problem for me. Other than that it works well - every once in a while some areas of dishes do not get clean but I attribute that to stacking issues. Oh - and make sure that you clean the filters frequently as it really helps.

We have used the dish washer and it has preformed very well it is quit cleans stubborn dishes and does a very good job on pots and pans.
