WOW really pleased with this LG. Have switched to stainless and this was in our price point and it has been great! Love the adjustable shelf.

I must be missing something about this dishwasher because I cannot get over all these positive reviews. I can't imagine being the only one who can't seem to figure out why this dishwasher does not dry my dishes. I open the dishwasher to put them away and all of my dishes are still soaking wet, even if I open the door as soon as it sounds off....or if it's the next evening, I have to hand dry them every time! My mom asked me if it has vents that allow the heat to be released and I couldn't find that anywhere. I only found 5 or 6 little holes on the right side of the dishwasher. Is that a vent? Then I looked at the Specs and it says "Heated Drying: No" No wonder! I am mad at myself for not seeing that before we bought it and installed it but why are these reviews saying it dries well?? I put it on Normal cycle and even press the "extra drying time" button, and their still wet! Besides that nonsense, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put my dishes in there without them falling over on top of each other. Sure it has adjustable racks, but they don't accommodate to my dishes. I'm pretty sure my dishes are normal, not square or any other funky size or style, and my plates still don’t stand up straight. I don’t even know how they get clean if they are leaned over on top of each other. I honestly wish I could say I love this dishwasher but I don't and I'm really disappointed in it. The top third rack is what really sold me and I really wish I had paid more attention to the specs in this dishwasher. I hope my review can help someone and doesn't get stuck with the same problems as me. My husband doesn't want to bother with it, but he's not the one that uses it. It's really annoying and bothering to me! I wish I could swap it out for something else. I wouldn't pick another LG but in this case any other dishwasher would be better (at least one that dries and fits well with my dishes).

I HAVE HAD THIS DISHWASHER FOR OVER A YEAR NOW, THE PRODUCT IS QUITE, LOOKS GREAT, CLEANS TERRIBLE. I HAVE HAD THE GEEK SQUAD OUT TWICE TO REPLACE THE MOTHER BOARD, I WENT TO LG FOR MORE HELP, THEY SENT OUT A TECHNICIAN WHO ORDERED DUPLICATE PARTS TO THE ENTIRE INSIDE OF THE MACHINE. STILL NO SATISFACTION. THE MACHINE IS CHANGING THE COLOR OF THERE PRODUCT LIKE IT'S WORN OUT ON THE INSIDE, FADING MY UTENSIL AND THE SPRAY ARMS INSIDE THE UNIT. WE HAVE USED LIQUID AND POWDER SOAPS, PLUS A RINSE AGENT, NOTHING IS WORKING. DON'T BUY THIS DISHWASHER.

DO not spend your money buying this unit. Does not clean dishes, racks are cheap and after only 2 months will not stay in place. Contact Best Buy and LG about unit, Best Buy did you buy the extended warranty, if not we can't help you. LG after 30 days they are finally going to send someone out to look at it, told me that I needed to run my hot water before running the unit, if we adjust the upper rack down it blocks the soap release, so don't do that. Replaced a 10 yr old Bosch and this doesn't come close to clean as well. Bought features that don't work, why buy energy efficient unit when mfg tells you to run on highest setting for solution to unclean dishes.

Two weeks after installation started getting error codes. Repair person came out, could not diagnose problem. Happened again and is coming out again. He indicated these units are very sensitive and the name brand soap we are using might be causing too many suds which is confusing the dishwasher. Never heard the words sensitive and confusing used in describing a dishwasher.

I have had nothing but issues. Worse yet, it has taken over 6 weeks to fix issues on 2 separate occasions. Approved service techs are hard to find and do not like working on LG. Bought 3 other LG appliances at the same time. On my 3rd service calls with them also.

We waited for a week for this thing to arrive. But it did not work. It leaked on the first trial run due to defective draining hose. Who knows if there is any other issue? Now we have to wait another week to get it exchanged. Two weeks down time!

And the repairman from LG service vendor came out and repaired. Worked for 5 minutes then quit again.
