Great monitor except for these lines that are running vertically right in the middle of the monitor. The package was not damaged, but the monitor is definitely defective. Make sure you open the package right away to check the quality. This was a present so the package was not opened until a couple weeks after purchase, and low and behold...now it's AFTER the return period. TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!! Such a huge let down.

The setup of the Monitor was easy. It comes with a guide to show you where items goes. I plugged the hdmi cord into the labtop, and it immediately connected to the labtop. The refresh rate for this monitor is 100 Hz, I was able to validate that it was when checking the settings area. The monitor can adjust to the different types of tasks one may be involved in. For example if gaming the monitor refresh rate can go from 43hz to up to 110Hz. I noticed this when using Windows 11. When not doing a strenous tasks such as gaming, the refresh rate can automatically lower, if you set it that way. The quality of the picture from my labtop to the screen was great. The display had vivid colors. The monitor is frameless which allows for the display to show on the entire screen. I would also like to mention when using 100hz on a labtop, the battery life of your labtop, can run out quicker. This is not an issue for me. This was something I noticed. Overall, nice small monitor and quite affordable. Would recommend this product to others. Pros: Easy Setup (Very Quick!) Cons: Currently have none. I like it.

The LG - 24" IPS 3-Side Borderless FHD 100Hz AMD 100Hz Freesync Monitor or simply the LG 24MR400 is a basic monitor for general use. As mentioned in the description it is a24 inch monitor which in my opinion good for most people meaning it’s size is good enough for general home or small/home office use and/or casual gaming. It is also described as borderless monitor but in truth as in the case of other brands of monitors, it is not exactly borderless as there is around a half inch bezel in the monitor. Regardless, this is still way better than the really thick bezels found in previous monitors. The LCD screen is matte but when turned on is quite bright. I couldn’t get exactly the number of nits but for me it is somewhere between a glossy screen and a really flat colored monitor. It also boasts of a refresh rate of 100Hz which is still short of the usual 144Hz found in most gaming monitors but still higher than the usual 75Hz. So again this is middle of the road – not spectacular but not bad either. The build quality is quite plasticky but then again it would not really matter-at least for me- since it would be sitting on a table. And like all monitors, it comes partially assembled – meaning that the stand is not yet setup in the screen itself. This obviously is intended to save space in packaging. But no worries, assembly is quite simple. Just attached the stand pole to the base and attach the monitor to the stand pole. No tools are even required. Connectivity is pretty much simple. It has an HDMI port and a D-Sub port. However, I wish it had dual HDMI ports rather than its existing setup so that I can setup my PC and Mac without buying an HDMI switch. A power brick is also included in this monitor. The LG 24MR400’s operation is pretty much simple as it has a button at the back which also acts as a D-pad. Also, I have noticed in the back that there are holes for a VESA mount should you decide to use one. The LCD can also tilt for better viewing angles but unfortunately, the height could not be adjusted. This monitor in general has nothing to write about but then it is not bad. It’s simply a new model that can handle today’s requirements. So in spite of oits seemingly lack of killer features, I would still recommend this monitor.

The LG - 24" IPS 3-Side Borderless FHD 100Hz AMD 100Hz FreeSync Monitor (HDMI) - Black is a perfect addition to my work and gaming set up. The monitor was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It is sleek and takes up minimal space on my desk. I don't have a huge desk, so this 24" option is fantastic. The 3 sided borderless screen maximizes the screen's surface area, making it feel bigger too. The Refresh Rate-100 Hz picture is smoother than my laptop monitor. My laptop has an AMD Radeon Graphics Processor 400MHZ with Full HD 1080. Game play with the LG Monitor is super satisfying for games such as Roblox and Genshin Impact. Graphics come across crisp and I have not had any problems with refresh rate during high graphical demand situations. These are the settings that my monitor is currently using: -My display settings are refresh rate 100 Hz. -Desktop mode: 1920 x 1080, 100Hz -Active Signal mode: 1920 x 1080, 100Hz -Bit depth: 8-bit -Color Format: RGB -Color space: Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) -My Picture Adjust Settings are: Super Resolution- High DFC-On -My Game Adjust Settings are: Response Time: Fast Free Sync: On Video meetings and chats with friends are also clear using Webex, Teams, or Discord. I had calls with 5 people at once, and had no issues with video quality. YouTube and movies is also very clear and quality is better than my laptop's. The monitor settings are easy to figure out. However, when toggling through the monitor settings, there is a functional beep that I never figured out how to disable. (It is loud and annoying.) With the exception of the beep while setting up the screen options, I am very pleased with this monitor, especially for game play.

What a fantastic monitor! I needed a new monitor for my home office since my other one was about 8 years old. On the computer I use this monitor for, I don’t game on it or really do anything except some surfing, online shopping and mostly spreadsheets and budgets….boring stuff! Lol. But… I do spend a lot of time looking at the screens so even though I am not asking the monitor to do much…I need it to look good! The LG-24” IPS looks amazing…a lot better than I expected to be frank. The colors are vibrant and true and the picture is crisp and sharp! The IPS, which stands for in-plane switching is a new way they build the screens and a lot better build than a standard LED LCD. The IPS really pops. They advertise “anti glare and flicker free” and I thought it was just marketing BUT it truly performs as advertised. The lights in my room don’t reflect on the screen and no flickering which lets the brilliant picture shine thought. Set up could not be any easier and it synced right up as a companion monitor to my main CPU and I was done in minutes! Video also look fantastic! Over all….Just an amazing monitor that hits above it’s weight class for sure! Light weight and the 3 borderless sides look really sharp on my desk top next to my main CPU! I’d say you can’t go wrong with this little work horse!!! LG knows screens to be sure!!! NOTE: It does not come with onboard speakers (which as a second monitor I don’t care about…just FYI though if you planned to use as a primary.)

Shipping was fast and it arrived undamaged. I love this monitor, I use it daily for work. Great value for the cost. It does not have built in speakers, however. But I use it as a second screen so that wasn't an issue for me. I do like that it mirrors my laptops blue light settings and will reduce blue light to match the settings on my laptop. A great additional monitor, especially if you're on a budget. I also use it for light gaming during off hours and have had zero issues with lag.

Very pleased to have a great pair of monitors at a very reasonable price. I had reviewed several monitor brands and price ranges on Best Buy and Amazon websites prior to going into my Brookfield Best Buy. The tech at Best Buy provided a strong recommendation for these LG's as I explained my use and we reviewed the LG specs. These new LG's are glare free and easy on my eyes. Colors are beautiful as I edit photos. I also purchased a new hub station in order to utilize true HDMI cables for both monitors. I had been using pin adapter cables and 8-year old Dell monitors.
