I do a lot of photo work with Adobe Lightroom. With that program, I can be working on an image using the laptop's main screen, and the second screen shows a fullsize view of the image being worked on. The previous monitor I have been using (a different brand) didn't have much contrast, images always looked faded and washed out. This LG monitor is bright and vivid. The colors on the display almost perfectly match the colors on my laptop. I was very happy to relegate my old monitor to a closet.

An excellent monitor. Large enough to get your work done, (I'm a photographer) but not so big that you'll feel crowed.

The LG 24MP57HQ was great choice for upgrading to a High Def, desk top monitor (with wall mount optional). The Screen offers a true NO GLARE Feature. Tilting capability, sturdy base, HDMI & VGA inputs, split screen mode, very impressive resolution. I am using this monitor for my home office, video editing and occasional video gaming, with no problems. And the price was very competitive for a 24 inch IPS Monitor.

For the price and the quality, this little monitor is amazing. The quality of the picture and the ease of operation, make it a 10. I highly recommend this for your security needs.

I was very pleased with the display quality of this monitor. I first tried using the VGA connection which gave good results. I later purchased a HDMI cable and the sharpness improved noticably. When I changed to HDMI there were black borders around the image. So I upgraded the video driver and that solved the problem. The monitor has an extensive set of built-in controls via the monitor menu.

We purchased a Mac laptop to replace an obsolete 2008 Mac desktop and to use when traveling, especially in our motorhome. We missed the large screen of the desktop so wanted a large screen monitor to use at home with the laptop. This large monitor has more than met our needs and expectations. Images and color are very clear. It is great quality especially for the price. The monitor does not have speakers so we also purchased a small set of desktop speakers to use with it. Have been using both products for about 3 months and are very pleased with both! The monitor does not include an HDMI cord so we had to purchase one separately in order to connect it to the laptop. We are retirees so having the large monitor makes things much easier to read than on the laptop screen!

I am a photographer and needed a new monitor I was using an old 17 inch monitor, the LG was on sale and I purchased it couldn't be happier. The color matching and resolution is great for the work I do. Can not wait to get a second one for my work space!

This monitor was for my hubby, and he is delighted with it. It was easy to set up. He likes the screen size and the fact that you can readily section the screen when multi-tasking. The resolution is great. All in all, he's a happy camper.

this was a replacement for a smaller screen &I am just THRILLED - the clarity is AWESOME - being able to walk in & walk out with an emergency purchase for work was outstanding

We purchased this for our office and have been very happy with it. The resolution is nice and it takes up less space than our previous monitor of the same screen size.

Great monitor. Clarity is outstanding. I purchased the monitor to review digital x-rays. The x-rays have great clarity on this monitor and they are easy to read.

The monitor is a delight. Its size and clarity are easy on my sixty-nine year old eyes and I received a wonderful discount because it was a new, yet opened box.

I bought this monitor for my Apple Mac Mini. It is very chrisp, bright and just the right size for my needs. I do photo editing quite a bit and it has very true, bright colors. I have an iMac and was worried that this display would not match up to my iMac display. I can't say it is as good as the iMac, but I am very happy with it.

I like this monitor a lot. The display is large and the colors are rich and vibrant. Great for watching videos or playing games. Excellent monitor for the price. I purchased the HDMI cable for it, as recommended by the sales person and I am glad that I did. The image is much clearer and sharper than if you were to use a VGA cable.

This monitor is amazing. I can have six window's open at once if you size them correctly. Multitasking is amazing with so much screen room. Great for gaming. My only gripes are no USB port's and (to me) it needs a higher resolution. I get spoiled when I use my Macbook with its retina display and there is a noticeable downgrade in image quality when switching back to working on the monitor but it looks excellent for 1080p. Overall I highly recommend this monitor!!!

It was easy to install and it has worked very well. The colors are very nice on the screen.

I bought this monitor when it was on sale, so it seemed like it would be worth it to try it. The monitor has a really good picture quality, with good color tone and a reasonable level of black contrast. The one thing that would have been nice to see would be VESA mounting holes for an arm mount or wall mount. If your not planning on mounting it though, that that doesn't even make a difference. I would definitely buy this monitor again at this price.

Not very tech savy but this monitor works well with my system. I like LG products and am very satisfied with the quality.Space requirements are limited but the size fits well. I expected the antiglare feature to take away from hd clarity and it may have very slightly but it is really unnoticeable.

Great picture and large easy to read clarity. Better than my old HP monitor
