Overall it is a good fridge but it can use some improvements. It is roomy and the color is surprisingly sleek which goes well with any kitchen style. I am going to list some cons to help inform future buyers. First, the doors do not close on their own. You definitely need to push the doors and drawer all the way and make sure they are shut. This is kind of annoying. Second, the doors and drawer are not magnetic and you would not be able to put up any of your child's drawings or important memos. Third, the drawer is quite loud every time you open and close it. The sound of the ice cubes dropping is so loud that it wakes me up in the middle of the night. I just hope the inside is made of quality materials and it will last me many many years. My previous LG fridge lasted about 11 years until it stopped working.

I received this refrigerator after returning another more expensive brand that I had for just a few weeks due to a very loud pitch noise that was driving me crazy. The LG's noise level is like a whisper - using Consumer Reports characterization.

I have purchased 2 LG Refrigerators from Best Buy. Both had multiple compressor related problems. Even though they were under warranty, no repair firm wanted to work on them Finally Big TV and appliance repair in Monterey, CA., agreed to come out but they didn't want to do warranty work because LG was so slow to pay. I cannot believe that I alone have these problems. Good looking refrigerator just totally unreliable. I ended up giving both to people who were willing to put up with the hassle. Both were less than 3 years old. Best Buy was helpful through out the process. Gilroy Best Buy is a great store.
